If I have a template made, I can select, edit/crop in photoshop, upload, test, and submit in about an hour. I submit to 16 LL's.

If I don't have a template made, maybe 4 months, because I hate making templates.

Well it takes me all day. My main reason was I have content issues cause I'm only promoing my own site (which I'm thinking of changing to doing some sponsers) but I was also never sure what was meant by templates. Was it colors, layouts or both. Anyway Linkster cleared that up which is good cause I only submitted my 2nd site this week and well it's got me wondering how to change the next one. Also I don't auto submit. I'm just to scared to. Heck learning as much as I can I figured for now its not hard to do it manually, I try to keep orginized and have set up a system but still it takes me a while. Well I'm starting a new job on monday so I dont see my having a whole lot of time to build them, so I better figure out how to turn this one day stuff into at least a couple of hours lol. Good tips Link thanks.

first 300 took me about 6-8 hours/one free site.. + 40 min hand submit to 112 LLs..

now got faster about 2.30-3 hours + 40 min hand submit to 112LLs

templates:

better keep them all in your head;)

I didn't realize that you could re-use the same template in another niche - was laboring under the delusion that to LLs, template is template and if you submitted Template A in Lesbian category on a Monday and submit Template A in pantyhose category on a Wednesday, they'd not look kindly upon that...?

In the steps listed above, Linkster, are you saying that once you write any and all sales text ahead of time in the template, that never gets tweaked or updated, all you do is drop in photos before uploading and testing links?

Thanks-
CatsEye

Linkster 2005-11-08 09:37 PM

CatsEye - definitely misunderstood what I was trying to convey - the template should not be reused for 30 days - that was why I suggested the 30 templates - however - that doesnt mean that the template has to be used in the same niche :)
I recommend always checking and tweaking the sales text - but not until you have enough data to really base your decisions on - and that can sometimes take 6 months of submitting to decide that :)

Big thanks to Linkster for that little guide :)

Linkster seems to have a wealth of knowledge and has provided me with some great pointers for most of the queries I have had on this board. I was mostly on the right track with this one but again he's provided me with some great ideas. Thanks Linkster ;)

Czarina 2005-11-08 11:03 PM

about 2 hours. Depending on the amount of sites that I submit it to.
Lately, I have removed the recips to the sites that don't send me traffic. so it's faster now... it used to be about 3 hours.

Sexvilly 2005-11-09 04:24 AM

CatsEye, keep it mind - the best was is to NOT use templates at all and to write Always different sales txt, different keywords, etc.
