Hey AFF,

It's WAAYYYYYY past Tuesday morning and it sure looks like this guy is still an active affiliate. Was all the talk on Sunday just lip service?

I hope it wasn't!,... because AFF could really set themselves apart from the rest if they ACTUALLY enforced their own terms of service and worked to protect their legitimate affiliates.

Ah ok it was just lip service...

..because AFF is in bed with the fucking password hackers!

http://www.ultrapasswords.com/

Along with a pile of other so-called legit sponsors

BrainCash
CashTitans
VideosZ
NastyDollars
DeeCash
PerfectGonzo
etc

Perhaps it's time for TGP and LL webmasters to start adding to our banned sponsor lists.

Sagi, this one is a no brainer.

1. The content on that gallery from sweet-sin.com is indisputably from danni.com. As Toby suggested, if you're not convinced, contact JJSLIM from danni.com.

2. whois for sweet-sin.com:

Registrant Name: Pupkin Vasil
Registrant Address1: 123 Futineze st
Registrant City: Malin
Registrant State/Province: ZH
Registrant Postal Code: 11600
Registrant Country: Ukraine
Registrant Country Code: UA

3. AFF account ID: p69074

If your affiliate p69074 owns sweet-sin.com the case is closed.

By the way, it's Wednesday morning.

DDave - thats just spoof password sites - although in this case its the worst phishers out there to be in bed with - theyve had suits brought from Amazon and Microsoft in the last 1 1/2 years and dont know whats going on lately: http://phx.corporate-ir.net/phoenix....icle&ID=618657 read about the Activsoft, Inc. and Cybertania, Inc. and their owner Leonid ("Leo") Radvinsky

He owns most of the fake password sites out there that these sponsors cater to - no wonder the news media labels our industry the way it does - because half the major sponsors out there still cut deals with this guy.

DangerDave 2006-02-01 08:02 AM

Linkster,

Its a SPOOF site up until it's YOUR PAYSITE that is listed on there, and your server comes to a grinding halt, and all your feeds get turned off, and you lose time, money, and members.....

Then it is 100% theft/damage and bullshit, supported by so-called legitimate sponsors...

I would just like to see one of these sponsors stand up, be pro-active and support the webmasters that have supported them for so long...

Everyone is looking for legit trustworthy sponsors... it just seems that very few exist :(

DDave - didnt know he was also listing legit paysites passwords - I know he also has tons of other domains that do the same thing ranging from luckyspasswords to some other distant past names I recognize on neighboring IPs

RawAlex 2006-02-01 10:14 AM

Sagi, while we are here, can we handle the fusker sites too?

I guess that clears up all doubt where AFF stands on content thieves. |banghead|

My TGPs will no longer be accepting galleries promoting AFF. |angry|

swedguy 2006-02-02 03:18 AM

While we got AFF on the line.

How about these people: http://www.imagecash.net/ ?

A list with stolen Raven Riley content: http://imagecash.net/content.php?sec...&q=raven+riley
The actual content including AFF ad: http://imagecash.net/gallery.php?gid=170100&public=yes

A list with Playboy content: http://imagecash.net/content.php?sec...arch&q=playboy
The actual content including AFF ad: http://imagecash.net/gallery.php?gid=164578&public=yes

It would appear that someone higher up the food chain at AFF has stepped up to the plate and overruled the prior decision and have banned this guy. No official statement here or on GFY, but both of his affiliate links are now redirectng to a banned affiliate message. |thumb

[edit] or perhaps John D. from DanniCash finally got the email I sent before I posted here on Sunday and contacted AFF? [/edit]

RawAlex 2006-02-02 10:12 AM

Based on the answer I got yesterday from Lars, without a valid legal claim sent to their legal department, they are not going to just remove affiliates. I am truly disappointed by this type of answer, and I don't think I will be listing any more sites promoting them on my link sites and such.

Not really much to say past that.

I'll be keeping an eye on this for awhile to see if he gets reactivated.

Yes, it should not take four days of public discourse. When presented with irrefutable proof of content theft the appropriate action is quite clear.

RawAlex 2006-02-02 02:11 PM

The feeling I get Toby is that it isn't acceptable for you or I to report the theft, because it isn't out content. Even though we can clearly see a hotlink or trimmed content or whatever, it is not ours so we have no technical legal claim.

It is apparently an acceptable business practice to ignore obvious or likely shady activity until the victim comes to and calls the police. In the mean time we can all just walk around the virtual body and act like it isn't there.

Excellent visual, you do have a way with words. |thumb

Surfn 2006-02-02 02:17 PM

Effective immediately all submits with links to AFF will be deleted.

swedguy 2006-02-02 03:15 PM

.... and they're gone. Good to see |thumb

RawAlex 2006-02-02 05:06 PM

In the end what I don't get is this: AFF / CAMS could just say "no hotlinked images ever" and that would be the end of it. No need to wait for the offended party to complain, anyone could report and things would be taken care of.

It just seems to me that this is all arranged the wrong way around.

I will give AFF credit for one thing: Once they shut down the affiliate, they don't accept the traffic any more at all. That is significantly better than the "cancel but take the traffic anyway" bullshit that other companies pull.
