Sign up for a trial to a Naughty America or Bangbros site and have a look around and get some ideas.
If done properly you can make a truckload of money with trials.

In most cases trials with revshare will earn you less. There are however, many instances where you need a trial to convert a surfer and that is usually a combination of niche and traffic source.

We have found a big difference in ratios on tgp traffic with trial vs non trial for 4/7 of our sites..... but in the same breath I have to admit that full price signups from tgp traffic are pretty bad aswell. I find the more general your niche and the more large sponsors with the 'join one join them all' sites ... the more need for you to compete with them using a trial. But the more microniche you go the less need for a trial :)

great thread. We took out trails after a month, and we are thinking about adding them back, but they would be definitely be limited access trials. The question is how much do you give for limited access (we are thinking one full video scene per site, our members get access to all our sites) and does anyone think this might result in more chargebacks?

OK, I started promoting a sponsor more that offers trials since this thread was started. I'm having a dillema. Most of the testing so far has been TGP traffic. What I'm noticing is, I'm getting trial joins with ratios about :1:200-1:700. Not bad except they're trials, meaning less money, but more conversions. So if I make three trial joins a day, that's about the same as one full price join off the same traffic. So what I'm noticing is if I switch back to no trial link codes, sale are very few and far between. So maybe trials are OK for TGP traffic. I really hate offering trials, but in the end, it's my bank account I'm most worried about.

You know what mate I'm currently running exactly the same test. I do trials for a week, just gallery traffic, default cham sub DB and pull 3-8 trial joins a day.

I then do same site, same traffic, full join no trial and be lucky to pull 1 full join a day.

Go figure.
