Good, I am careful not to offend anyone. As I have stated before, I appreciate the help you and Jim have given me in the past. I have follow ya'll for a couple of years now. As you know I do not post on the board very much but I do read it each day and absorb all the knowledge that I can. It has meant much to me.

Since I had done some business with Don, I emailed him before I made the post. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, maybe the post the his first reply was made before he checked his email. But his post was his standard reply. I think surfn's thread contains the exact reply. He did email after the fact. He could have gotten a big order. Big for me.

Close this thread. It is a dead issue. He will survive and we will also.

Second, As long as people offer something to this community, we have no problem with people selling their products. We have content people as sponsors and if the only thing another provider is going to do is watch the board for the word content and then jump on it for their benefit, we will stop it.

We let this person get away with it for about 10 posts before the first warning. He was then told to only post in the products and services forum. We even offered them the opportunity to give our webmasters some content in return for their posts. They declined.

I am 100% behind Jim, GG, Cleo, MML, on this one... and as a Mod I would delete half the suspect posts on the spot... but I let lots of spammy stuff slide..

Spammers know as they hit the "submit" button that deletion/editing/banning is a risk they take.. thats how they do biz. :(

Community and Input is what it is all about.. and to me that is not a hard concept to grasp..

What DD said about deleting stuff. This isn't my board so I don't delete, move, or mess with a lot of stuff, especially if I see the owners online in my ICQ.

I am so confused, I thought you were all calling me stupid, which I can be at times. I was just trying to defend the board against spammers in my own (obviously inept) way. |sad|

Since I had already prepared this to post - here it is just a little late.

Surfn you can not leave. I think you are confused about what happened. Yesterday morning I checked the Don's initial reply, which was his standard wording, was there. A few mintues later, you ICQ to say someone had sh__ on my thread and you attempted to set him straight. I returned to board and found the changed reply and assumed that he was on medication and laughed about it. I think your confusion is a result of you not seeing the original post by Don.

As I expressed to you in the chat we just completed, you are a valuabe poster in this community and all of this crap should not come between members of our community. We both came from the same board in April and know this a good thing going on here. Let's just all stick together.

If there is a problem between you and other members of the board, the best thing is discuss it with them in private. Reslove it and get back to posting. That way we will all benefit.

If I ran this board, I would have acted on Don's replies to post. Especially, since he did on advertise on the board and other content providers do. What would have gotten me hot would have been his refusal to donate a 100 pictures. Hell he has sets that contain a 100 pictures priced under $10. If I was Greenguy and Jim, I would feel like he was saying F____ you.
