Thanks once again everybody!
However, the novelty has worn off pretty bloody quickly!
It's 4.30AM as I type, and new baby has just gone back to sleep after waking up my two year old daughter, and she's showing no mercy in destroying my chances of getting much shut-eye tonight.
Normally I'd be more strict with her but Mrs Gary needs a good sleep tonight, so I'm being heroic and hating myself for it!
Who predicted massive sleep depravation? Who said I was stupid to have another one? You were all correct and I hate you.

having borne two hellraisers who didn't sleep until they were 5, I feel fully qualified to LAUGH MY ASS OFF :D

It was a short labour, just a few hours long, and he weighed 8 lbs 5 oz. I wasn't at the birth for two reasons:
1. The only choice for a babysitter for my other children is a psycho bitch.
2. At the birth of my second child, they sliced open my woman's lady-bits and it was....um...nasty. Kind of put me off.

Baby is settling in nicely after his first "HELL ON EARTH" week.
The adjustment and broken sleep take some getting used to even though he's child number five.
Had to take almost a week off to help Mrs Gary recover as she's been in a lot of pain, but I'm back to full freesite submits again now!
Horrible seeing my stats drift downwards and the signups dry up for a while, but this reason is as good as any for easing down on relentless submitting.

Belated congrats... and I sure know where you're coming from with the sleepless nights. I stayed with my sis the first week after her little boy was born last month, and did a lot of half asleep floor walking so she'd get some rest. Just got off the phone with her the other day and he was doing that wound up crying where they get started and just can't stop. I bet you know exactly what I mean :D
