I played Elite non-stop for 36 hour stretches at a time back in the 80s.
Was unbeatable on Galaxians and International Track & Field Rollercoaster Tycoon was fun for a while Used to play FIFA Football (Soccer), but stopped when they changed the controls after FIFA 98 RttWC Now I play games like Outrun 2006 Coast To Coast, World Championship Poker and the Burnout series on the XBox when time permits |
The good old Transport Tycoon DeLuxe - love uilding the roads 'n channels and watching those cities grow from 2 houses to megapolis

I played SWG for over 3 years now and the account just ran out 4 days ago but for some reason I can still log on an play. I played that game more then any in my life but have stopped do to changes and how they screwed my game. Recently I have been playing Caesar IV and it's ok. I get bored of them fast. If I had to pick one that I have played over and over it's C&C generals zero hour. Not much of a console player, once they came out with controllers that had more then 3 buttons I was lost.

Back in the day when you actually had to leave your home in order to play: Defender.
For the short while I borrowed a PS2 it was GT3 hands down. And when I'll get a dirt cheap PS2 (hopefully 4 Christmans), cause $600 4 a PS3 is way out of my league, I think it'll be GT4. My absolute favorite though was a little thing called Galaga...|headbang| God the money I wasted on that thing...|loony
SIMS...that's the only game I play...and also Tekken 5...Julia Chang's my fave character...also love NFS and I'm mastering NFS Carbon...the newest installment...

EA FIFA Football (Soccer) ... each one that comes out I got to have it and EA Betlefield 1942 ... guess I'm EA fan :-)

My favorite? A game from my mispent youth... ZaXXon
I think I just aged myself |doh
Mostly retro 'round these parts, it seems ;)
Can't say I don't agree. Cheers to the Intellivision (hah Tron - both the mazey one and the "deadly disks" one) and C64 shoutouts (hahah ZaXXon). You guys go to any video game sites or magazines? Given that you guys are a generally smart bunch, you might like http://www.escapistmagazine.com. They write rather well and it's less NEWS & REVIEWS and more intelligent discussion and analysis. I'm a fan |thumb |
