IMO....chocolate would still be worse. ;)

This sure is not your week Yum. Good luck with the allergy test. Hopefully, it is one of the things you suspect, or it could be very tough to narrow it down. Thoughts and prayers are with your mom as well.

Yep about a week before Xmas I developed a sudden allergy to 'something', just couldn't narrow down what it was (mainly cos I hadn't eaten anything new).

Took me a few days, and quite a few episodes of swollen eyes, lips and fortunately only a scratchy rather than swollen throat, to narrow it down to....tomatoes!

I can live without the tomatoes in summer salads and on sandwiches, which is where we're at at the moment, but i'm not going to be a happy vegemite come winter and i'm struggling with lasagna. :(

Hope your gf figures it all out YourYumminess...tis the not knowing which is the worst. And a word of caution, some reactions to allergens get worse with repeated exposure, so her next reaction could potentially be worse than the last one.

Ouch, it's amazing how we can eat things all our freakin lives...then suddenly become highly allergic to them |loony|

Yea, the doctor did mention that if it happens again, it's very possible it will be more severe and quicker. Which was why he prescribed the adrenalin pen thing. Hopefully, I'll never have to stab the lil monkey with that thing.

Klingon GAH

I am allergic to those live GAH blood worms the Klingons eat.

They taste wonderful and I love the way they tickle my throat

but they give me indigestion.
