Surely you jest. Look at Hawaii's schedule Hawaii

You also have to consider the larger than normal home field advantage. Hawaii only played two games against opponents that finished the season above .500 and both of those games were in Hawaii. They don't play any non-conference games on the road.

Georgia on the other hand has defeated 4 ranked teams, three of those on the road. We'll find out on January 1 if Hawaii really belongs in a BCS bowl game.

Yeah, teams like Hawaii or Boise St do not belong in the BCS, I mean they have zero chance of winning right?

I don't think it has anything to do with their chance of winning. I believe all teams have a chance of winning (cough Pitt cough). Hawaii could beat USC tomorrow. It's a matter of earning the spot. There are tons of teams competing for 2 spots. You want in? Prove yourself worthy. You really can't do that if you don't even play ONE ranked team.

The Sugar Bowl will be renamed "The Blood Bowl". GA is gonna kick some pineapple ass.

Hmmm, I just noticed something. Ohio State didn't beat a single team that was ranked in the top 20 at the time they played. |shocking| Strength of schedule should be put back into the BCS computer program. Teams playing most or all of their games against "homecoming" type teams should have that taken into account as well as those defeating top ranked teams.

I vote for a playoff but as one sports writer said, the regular season would become less important … fans would have difficulty traveling from playoff site to playoff site … regular-season attendance might suffer … the bowls might be adversely affected.

Oh damn....

Georgia 41 Hawaii 10

I guess we now have the answer to that question.
