NY is packed with them.. almost as common as the hotdog stands. Just take the train to Penn Station and walk outside.

Anywhere there are Lebanese there are falafel joints. The best I've been to is in Moncton New Brunswick.

There is a little hole in the wall type of eatery on Caroline St. in Saratoga Springs that serves a variety of international goodies, one of them being falafels. I'm pretty sure it's right next door to the Tin & Lint, which is where Don McLean wrote the song "American Pie". On the other side, just a bit down the hill, is a small dark pub named Desperate Annies. If anyone ever wants to buy me a pint of Guinness and beat my ass in a game of foozball - that's the place to invite me to. |thumb
