Morning all - just finished a long night - off to bed now - let's pray the phone doesn't ring too much.

I've been on Pravastatin for a few years now and and I'm up to 80 mg a day but still my cholesterol keeps ongoing up.

Been running behind all day, ever since a bike ride to the local park only to find the gates locked so had to rearrange my plans for where I was going to ride. Amazing that after years of watching them build the place behind locked construction gates they're now locking the finished park too. Only open during 'daylight' hours. Idiots. Can't even go watch the most excellent sunrise you can see from there since they don't open until after it's up. Did I mention they're idiots?

I may have something to announce later today if things happen on schedule. (Yes |greenguy|, finally!)

Sorry to hear that, you still might want to check out those other two supplements, as they really helped bring mine down. My whole family has high cholesterol, my Dad's was 400 when he had his heart attack, and I'm the only one left of my brother, sister, and I under 200 without taking Statins. I took one for 2 weeks, can't remember which, and ended up with such severe muscle pains in my calf, I had to stop taking it. I was glad the natural stuff worked for me.

I take this brand of Niacin, which is 500 mg, and have not had a problem with flushing. I've had horrible problems with other niacins, maybe a brand change would help?
