This is what Terminal opens on my Macbook
Code:
MacBook-Pro-15:~ tz$ lsof | grep Terminal |

I did not go into the system folder itself, I just deleted apps to make free space and useless languages. I am not familiar with terminal commands so avoided using Terminal. |
If this doesn't work... You are missing frameworks and other coreservices and personally I'd be already reinstalling my system and all my programs.
EDITED Let me know when you finish downloading it so I can remove it from my server. |
Now I am surprised.. thanks bDok, the file works. You rock.
It even shows the last login via the mini widget in the dashboard. It is blank though but yesterday I deleted the preferences, cleaned my OSX & user caches and used Disk Utility to repair disk's permissions and verify disk. I was told that a tool like Cocktail or Leopard Cache Cleaner will help get rid of the troublesome caches so I used it. Cleo, double apologies your way hon, we were posting the same time and I cached the page. Then sis stepped so while I needed help badly, I am back a bit late. Plus I got the mini with leopard installed and the guy who surprised me with this back in January, already dropped a lot of stuff out telling me I won't need them and use the applications and leave system alone. The two proggies, xslimmer and monolingual both have a blacklist btw so they "know" which applications cannot be edited. Thanks to both of you!!! |
Thank god Macs are so simple :)

Glad to hear it's working again.
Cheers, B |
