The point is that the site is listed with false recips. To me thats a problem.

Lots are to lazy to handsubmit to linksites, but one of the first thing i learned when i started to submit free sites years ago was ......submit by hand and that will always be the way:D

btw that fake receips thing was an issue already years ago and also then it was not accepted , what bugs me now is that i realy have to focus on that playing game also, using a script or whatever, what NOCHEXcontact or SmithsMedia used isnt allowed and he should have known that, he is not a newbie. I am glad the linksite world is a small world:D

It only takes me about 15 to 30 minutes to submit to 45 sites..

i realy dont know anymore how much time it takes, i dont submit free sites or make them already for almost 5 years, but i always liked the way to submit by hand, same i still handcode.:D gawd i am so old fashioned

But to get back on topic NOCHEXcontact aka SmithsMedia can think now about the facted why he did got listed at my site (i have no rules, btw he is removed now) but he didnt got listed at the other sites i review for, oke i admit i have a strange way of reviewing, but if my feeling about a site is bad i wont list the free site, and i dont have to give a reason for that, my bosses lett me do that already for years and my feeling is always right, if i am wrong , i would admit that in public and say sorry in public, no shame here. But i am very strict with my feelings with my bosses sites then with mine:D

I consider it cheating, and I ban for it. If I see a recip on a site that's submitted to me I trust that that exact site was submitted to every site who's recip is there, not a mirror of that site, but that exact site. If I notice that a recip is fake, I keep an eye on future submits, if it happens again I ban, because I feel like someone has tried to cheat me, and is no longer trustworthy.

It's not as bad as say changing a site after listing to get around a LL rules or killing your neighbor's cat but it is a bannable slap in the face kind of shadyness.

I think depending on other aspects of the submitter I might or might not give them a second chance.

As for the redirect that was down to my server throyugh no fault of my own being off line - any how I there is little if any point in arguing about it seems I have been hang drawn and quartered by a host of guys who dont know me.

The real shame with you meat pounder is that I submitted for years to Click4Sex and had a good rapoor with with Linkster, the joys :)

Cleo, I hear you though I am also disappointed that it is all been put to me in a negitive light, I acknowleged the error and have adressed it but if you is banning me too let me know please just so I can amend my list :)

It is not about being lazy it is about using an applicaiton to manage all the information, recips etc for LL.

One day a LL is here the next it is gone unless the sites comminicate back it is near on impossible to keep the list clean.

I use a tool to manage the informtion though manually submit through the application it is not an automatic process.

I think you will find 'most perople' do something similar aprat from those who maybe submit to the sames 10 or so sites each day.

When I first started to submitting I did it with spread sheet though this became un productive.

There are two issuse in this post which people are jumping all over me for

1) The Sex GB Redirect - This was caused by server performance issues

3) The filler recips - One I totally acept as my fault and have resolved.

What irratates me is that I am been judged by a handful of people who are saying some pretty bd stuff about it and you dont know me!

You did not mention here the semi hidden by font color and size enter links...though you did mention it was a cross browser issue as far as design...yup I guess one enter link color (the only link color specified on the page in fact) a few shades off the background color...and a font size=7 tag only for the link was a design accident |jester|, and it happened on several submits over the course of a few days (different colors and designs of course)...seemed like an experiment to me

Also the redirects to ANOTHER domain were not server down issues as the page and every other link on the domain were working, it was the fact that your 404 redirects to the other domain and you had broken links

But hey, as I said above and in the other thread earlier...you are off my blacklist, and if you care to submit again you can...but quite honestly I will be checking your sites in a microscope from now on

I can understand that your intentions are good, but do you have any idea what a reviewer is going to see when he looks at what you have submitted?

I'd like to point out that I only post root directories to the big guys... and one other named "clean.html" for a guy that specifically asks for no recips.

Yes I do - I just think sometimes things pass you by or you miss something we are human :) I would be very supprised if there was one person here who has not make a few screw ups along the way :)
