I learned to code in notepad and still use it for quick edits to live pages, but I've been using dreamweaver since it was macromedia dreamwever 4. I currently have CS4 running on windows 7 RC (64 bit) and have not run into any issues so far.

Long time ago I started with DW 4 , but I had to change laptops and then I discovered that DW 4 is not working on VISTA so I switch for newer version. Right now I'm using Dreamweaver 8 for html stuff ( and XP again :D) and EditPlus for everything else.
And like everyone else here I'm giving |thumb|thumb for DW.

Combination of Homesite 5 and Notepad. Depends on my mood. I do like the snippets part of Homesite where you can use whole blocks of code with just a mouseclick.

You can't beat Dreamweaver

I use and have only used Namo Webeditor for the last 13 years. I cannot handcode :(

Seems like I am the only one here that does (other than Greenie and Bluebrit)

I prefer version 5 but version 8 has heaps more tools and a new layout which is hard for me to get used to. I have purchased every upgrade they ever put out. Download the trial and check it out, yes it has WYSIWYG and you can handcode.

I use Crimson Editor, it's a small application, much lighter than Dreamweaver and you can code in tons of languages.

I suggest it to all the people on the board, it's really great and so far it works perfectly well in Win98, XP or Vista.

Can't say that I do a lot of coding...I do quite a bit of editing code though. I usually use Notepad but recently downloaded Kompozer after seeing it on a video tutorial on YouTube.

I like Ms. Expression Web 2.
But these times most of my work will be done thru CMS. I make most revenue thru mainstream sites.

When I made something myself, Notepad is the tool I use to last check all things.
