Can I go one step deeper & ask about retention? If the site isn't being updated, we may make a sale off a good tour, but then they cancel before they rebill.

I have been a member of Mayors Money since I started in the biz about a year ago and I was just wondering if you have any plans for expanding this program or adding content to some other of your programs. Really looking forward to seeing a list of your most updated promo tools for your programs. |

Hey Nick and Tam. Glad to see you guys here. As I said, the Dee reps are always nice and helpful. It's good to see sponsors that take an interest in affiliate opinions.
As others have mentioned, I'd love to see Dee combine payments. Maybe a simple backend where all the individual program stats are listed and one check is issued for the entire Dee network. Kinda like how CCBill handles things. I have sales lingering at a couple Dee programs. Two or three, here and there. But not enough to generate a check at those sites. And that's frustrating. I would promote Dee sites more frequently, and try promoting new sites, if I knew every single sale would be combined so I could get paid. I also think it would help if some of the tours were tweaked. I'm not talking about a total re-design. But some of the tours (like Movie Profits) have dates on them. And potential customers can see that the sites haven't been updated in a long time. Maybe you could remove the dates and move things around once or twice a month so it seems fresh. Anyways, happy to see you here opening a dialogue with affiliates. |

Well I mean honestly its great that you've been so active in this thread. I was kind of hoping that someone from Dee would come and see it so that's a good sign. I will be giving some strong consideration to promoting some of these programs. I can't push the kind of traffic that someone like Greenie could do but I am very much willing to try sending some to your programs. I will let you guys know if I have an issue.

I understand the reasons behind minimums and holds on payouts. This is a business full of fraud from both affiliates and the public at large. But, making minimum payouts indefinate is just as bad. After a period of time there's no way to claim fraud or need to worry about charge backs on a given sale and no defense for an open ended hold on the payout for that sale. When does the hold itself become fraud?
Why not introduce aging? Say after a year on hold, payouts are made reguardless of the minimums. That protects the paysite and stops screwing legitimate affiliates out of what they rightfully earned. Sad to say but I don't think I'll ever see this in any program that uses minimums. |

The way adult traffic is more and more diluted, adult programs should be thinking about webmaster retention right along side member retention.
I think it would be great PR for a program. It would show they're serious about their affiliates, even the little guy who may not have the big traffic but still makes them money. |
