From everything I'm reading, especially with the Panda update, dupe content is the cause of heavy losses in the SERPs. (I'm trying to get a local company whose owner is a Panda expert to hire me, so I've been pulling long hours studying up on this damn stuff. I'd love to be a social media/community builder guru, but I'll take anything if I can get them to interview me.)

Maybe dupe content in the sense of entire pages copied... but as with RSS feeds, it's more like news updates on a static page. I do not believe that would cause any dupe issues.
