And GG - I was so glad when I saw that someone had offered you $1000 for those domains. I got one of them and was still pondering if I should bother answering... Now I know better. :)

Well at least new link list and tgp owners will know that mass email spam is not the way to get submits when they read this post |waves|

I too received one of these emails and was as happy as a dog with two tails that at last someone had seen some of my sites and could see that I was trying to build something with quality |bananna|

Well that is until this post....lol. Ya gotta laugh I guess but I'm running a newish link list too and I can kinda understand and sympathise with the position. I wouldn't spam anybody or pay anybody to surf for good sites because I a) wouldn't have the guts and b) wouldn't have the money...lol, but still I can empathise. At least it's not dirty rotten low down spam that makes you want to strangle someone and I know how hard it is to learn lessons in this biz when you are trying to make a go of it.

After all, you can't really go to university and get a degree in "Building and Marketing of Porn Web Sites" - it's all trial and error and I'm sure there's a lesson been learned here. The only education I've had in this is from the "University of Life" and the "School of Hardknocks"

As in a thread I read earlier I'm copping heaps of those "old worn out slag with emaciated white skinny lad" (maybe drunk, maybe not) sites which are about as inspiring as a nun on valium and on index16725.html or such like, and yet my own last two asian sites (clean as a whistle) hardly got a sniff on the lists. I think I'm getting confused in my old age.

Anyhow, probably shouldn't have had that last wine, but when I've finished buggerising around with my link list I might just send this chap a couple of sites and see what happens. It seems from this that he's not necessarily having a wank... so to speak, but who am I to say... like I said, it's all trial and error so far for me.

If ya don't get any decent subs you have to build, build, build or add the odd hosted site here and there and just keep on going.

Off to cook dinner now, but had to post as I haven't gotten my GG&J email for quite sometime now even tho I resubbed my email so hopefully this will do the trick...lol

Yep, it was just a mistake, no huge deal. So I sent a site or two to his list, and I've gotten a few hits from it. Besides, I figure I may, at some point, want to turn the list of my own free sites into an actual link list with public submissions, and this has been a vivid lesson in "things not to outsource".
