i submitted a form on the epassporte site months ago and havent heard jack squat back ...|banghead|

As a paysite owner using Epoch/Paycom, I have some issues with ePassporte.
Mainly, Epoch/Paycom is diverting signups whose CC is already blacklisted to allow signups via ePassporte. Problem is, I have no ePassporte account and so I am not paid for those signups to my sites, and Paycom gets to keep all the money. Paycom is essentially forcing me to open a business account with their privately-owned bank, ePassporte, ($100 minimum balance required, no less!). And even when I do get paid for those signups, well, as people have pointed out, I can only use that money for other ePassporte transactions - I can't transfer it into my company bank account. No, I cannot opt out of Paycom's practice of sending CC fraudsters to ePassporte and giving them unpaid access to my sites, I can't get the $100 minimum payment just to open an account waived, and I can't transfer those payouts anywhere. I don't think I should be required to help capitalize Epoch's private banking venture as a condition of having my Visa and MC transactions handled by them. Oh, did I mention they still will take the 15% off the top? Of course they will, while earning interest on my mandatory $100 payment. To add to my processor woes this month, iBill was insisting on charging my $750 for Visa registration renewal even though my account with them has been closed for a year and a half. Finally got that one straightened out, I hope. Are there any IPSPs left anywhere that have a freakin' shred of honesty and integrity in their dealings with webmasters? Or are we stuck with incompetence, extortionate scams, and hostility to the clients who presumably make them their $$$? |pissed| |
lassiter - I know of an up and coming ipsp that we are using with our content partner for CHAMPS. If you are interested, hit me up on icq - 85868511.

Have Jim contact me directly with the details and I'll find out what happened. It really is a simple thing to get the defualt raised. As for being able to move funds to or from a bank account, soon is a relative term. |firstdown . However, soon really is soon now. Get ready to be happy VERY soon. I'll bring good news to your board in a matter of a few days. |
Rand, I did contact you directly. Along with Clay and several others. You wrote to me and asked if I my limit had been raised yet and I said no. That was the end of our conversation.
It seems as if you glossed over an awful lot of information within this thread. I understand you are a busy man. Damn, we are all busy. But, your answer is very telling when it comes to epassporte's all around customer care. |

I apologize Rand for jumping the gun. I'll be leaving shortly but will take a look either later or tomorrow morning.

Verification is not a joke. It's about stopping fraud. Sounds like you're trying to do eP Verify. If you are in the U.S. and can not check your pending charges online, then you shoud call your bank and they can tell you. If you are not in the U.S. then you may indeed have problems with currency conversion. There are other ways to verify. VBV (Verified by Visa) being the best. Write to me directly with your specifics and I'll tell you what you need to do. Rand @ Paycom.net |

I think I have less than 10 posts on this board so far. Workin' on it. I'm gonna be off the grid soon until Monday, but I'll be checking in next week. |

Affiliates will probalby need to have a verified account in order to increase their withdrawal amount. That could be done by adding a verifiable load card to their account, or perhaps by submitting identification papers. The time to increase the cap should not take more than a few days. And yes, it does actually happen. |
Rand:
Thanks for replying. I like ePassporte. I understand ironing out new processes. I even understand delays in development. What I do not understand is the evasiveness and the defensiveness in your replies. That is so not consistent with the service I received from Amparo. Yes, the process was longer than what I wanted it to be, but she never came across like this. |

I know I'm pretty direct and matter-of-fact, but I don't think I'm evasive or defensive at all. I agree I may be defending ePassporte, but, a lot of people simply misrepresent it on these boards and I'm simply trying to correct the misunderstandings. If we ever meet you'll find I'm totally a nice guy. Really! ;-) |

Mikey 219, We found that the form on the site stopped working correctly for a while. It has been fixed. We had no way to know what had been submitted during that time. I hope you'll try again or contact me directly, or write to sales@paycom.net. Me, Amparo, John Thorpe, or Kimmy Kim can help you with whatever you need. |

True, you need to open an ePassporte account to claim your balance, but once you do, you are not limited to using that money for ePassporte transactions. You can withdraw the money at any ATM, and very soon, you'll be able to move it to your own bank account (if you have a U.S. account). Quote:

I hope this helps. I'm leaving to go camping now. Will be back around on Monday. Hope everyone has a great weekend. |
Rand: did you miss my question about taking thrid party CC payments with a personal account?
Also... I emailled cs@eppassporte at the time I posted that question a couple of days ago asking if I could have my withdrawl limit raised.. (which is only $300 btw). This is not my first attempt to ask for it to be raised. No reply as yet... I wonder if it is actually possible to get a limit raised or if its really only a myth.. I know several other Aussies who have tried, failed and given up on the idea of using epassporte for receiving larger payments. I don't care if it doesnt happen fast.... and I dont even mind some inconvenience to ensure any of my money that you are holding is safe.. but it appears it really just is not possible to get a reasonable withdrawl limit with eppassporte... I know lots of people that havent been able to get their limit raised... maybe success stories shut up... but I dont know Anyone that has a sucessfully got a limit they wanted. Has anyone reading got $1000 or more as a daily withdrawl limit on their personal account? Anyone? Anyone with a higher limit than 500 even? |

I am surely not the first person to complain about your customer service. I cc'ed you and a few others because after faxing this sensitive information 3 times, I thought that was enough. So, when my fax machine says that cs received the fax and cs says they didn't, where do you suppose it went...3 times??? And, I really have to disagree about my expierience with epassporte's cs. If you have a weak customer service behind a product, how can that not reflect on the product as a whole? Back then was a bad time for this to happen. But I did try before my mother passed away. Still, to no avail. I remember you calling me to let me know that my limit was indeed raised. And yet, it was not. |
Hi taboo_gal |waves| welcome to the board :)
Did we meet in Vegas? |
Looking foward to hearing the answer to ..
