Excuse my ignorance... but whats a link dump? Anyone have an example?

Kind of like a FFA (free for all) list.. I assume there is autosubmitter tools that allow you to hit lots of them with your link on some automatic schedule.

I would take care with it though... I've seen people post that SE's penalized FFA sites in the past... and I dont see many about anymore.. and these things just look like FFAs with another name to me.

in the blogsphere a linkdump is considered a place where you put interesting and entertaining links, for people to view. not sure how that applies outside of the bloggerverse tho :)
