Gee I forgot about this. I remembered when I received the email but got caught up on making pretty graphics for my page. sigh next time I'll remember.

Why I did it?
I made some nice money off tooties byots on ARS and she was always helpful with making designs for me and she is a nice person.

Don´t know if it was wrong of me but again if it was I am sorry.

Is it time to rework this contest yet?

Wouldn't it be wiser to include only truly active community members? I mean, they wouldn't have to have more than 680 posts or anthing, but what about 100 or so. I assume the contest is to motivate people to come out of the woodwork and be an active member. But what is the motivation if a zero-poster like Lara can win? If the odds are the same for lurkers as active members, what's going to get them to come in and join the discussion? The no good lazy bastards.:D

Gee Whiz! The contest is not even 24 hours old & you want to gut it? :D

I'm not gonna lie - and I think everyone knows this - the sole purpose of this contest is to bring attention to the board & get the not-so-active members in here so they can look around for an hour or 2 before we pull the name. (that's not to say that the next one won't be pulled 5 minutes after the contest has started)

I'm also pleased to say that yesterday was the "best" day we've had on this board, beating out the previous one by about 30%. It was hectic - I was moving posts & editing sigs for about the 1st 45 minutes, but I expected that. All in all, I think it went rather well :)

I'm not a big fan of letting people know in advance that there will be rewards for post totals, as this does bring out the people that post for the sake of posting & getting their sig file seen. This is why, like when we announced the Super Bowl Contest, we didn't let anyone know what the cutoff post total was & we didn't let people get more posts in order to get in the contest. I think everyone knows that we will do our best to take care of those that take care of us & I think that the Super Bowl Contest is a good example of how we do that :)

I'm not a big fan of the new newsletter contest rules, but then again, that hasn't really brought them out of the woodwork too much & I do see how the new rules are a good thing.

I'm rambling again.... :D

Oh yeah - I almost forgot - my dick seems to be a bit bigger today, as we went from 8 to 7 on Board Tracker :D
