sorry same thing
thanks i even refresh page and started over thanks |
I just tried - I get a DNS error in IE and a 500 error in Netscape. Probably just a difference in how each browser handles it.
But still can't submit. |sad
addendum - I did a refresh in Netscape and got a 'the document contained no data'
refresh in IE gives me the 500 Internal error repeatedly. |
Still getting errors here too. :(
I'm using IE.. and I get both errors. I get the 500 Internal Server Error 80% of the time, and the DNS Cannot Find Server error 20% of the time. Roughly.. |
hey gg has anybody been getting through or is a small # of people
i keep trying, man when you get it working, you will have a list as long as the ohio river thanks |
Sorry. Same thing for me also. I am still getting can not find server or 500 error messages every time I try.
Steve |
I submited so many times I feel like a fetish slave
LOL |waves| |rasta| |
Damn it!
I am getting submits - a little less then I am used to getting, but still enough to update every day (added 69 new links today) |banghead
that dont make any sense gg
i tryed my ass off aol diff pc diff house its crazy thanks for keeping us informed my isp is earthlink how about others in thread post your isp maybe its related to isp that day my cable company had a problem it only showed up on some sites maybe that the case here how can the script cause some people problems and not others makes you wonder |
I tried 4 times and got (after hitting "submit link" button) 3 times server not found/page can't be displayed one one time internal server error.

Hi Plateman,
I think you might have the right approach. This doesn't seem to be random in that some people can submit and some people can not submit at all. So perhaps there is a common denominator among us. I've used both Earthlink, dialup and dsl, and dialup AOL with no luck. I tried Netscape 4.8 and IE version 6 with the latest service and security patches applied. GG, Should the group of us who have been posting here PM your what we have been trying to submit in the submit form fields? Perhaps there is something in the way we fill out the submit form that is causing problems with your script. Steve |
No, it's not your ISP's, because I get the errors in my admin as well :(
|
Still no luck here. |sad|
|
GG is it possible that the problem may not be with your server/script?
The only reason I mention this is that I notice if I leave a field out of your submission form then your submit cgi returns an error straight away which indicates to me that your script and server are fine. I am not sure how the blacklist feature is set up but I imagine your submit cgi would pass the submitted information to the blacklist server. If this server was in fact timing out or erroring in some way, or in fact your submit cgi was sending the information to an incorrect url, this would result in your submit cgi not being able to complete the submission process and possibly returning the error received from the blacklist server Just a thought |
gg u said u have 4 years worth of data to loose on reinstall what kezza said makes sense the server is searching through to so many files and conn is timing out before its job is done thats my 2 cents, can you save half of them and clean some out, that would be bad to loose your blacklist files
the people that are able to submit what kind of conn do they have and loc your in ny is server there am in ohio its odd that some can some cant if script was at fault, oh your getting them in the admin sorry duh that might be the only thing is to delete and start over good luck |santa
It is the script and/or server that's causing the problems - as I've said before, I get the 500 errors when I am in my admin working every now & then.
It's trying to load a file & 90% of the time it does, but 10% of the time, it doesn't :( If you leave out part of the submit form, that file does not need to be accessed - the page itself knows if you left something out & thus you get the script error for a blank area on the form. We did add another gig of ram yesterday, thinking that there were too many processes on the server & that was causing the file to not load sometimes, but as you know that didn't work :( I'm just waiting to hear form Richard today & then I'll conf in Nat Net to see if we can come up with a solution. I know you guys are pissed - believe me, my reviewers as well as myself are just as annoyed by this. Nothing sucks worse than reviewing links only to find the script went 500 on you & then you have to redo the links you just reviewed |banghead
Attempt #48 to correct the problem has been done - please let me know if you can submit or if you still get errors :)
|
no dns tryed 3 or 4 times
i just open up a fresh page and tryed again same thing sorry |
3 times "page can't be displayed" :(
|
No go here.
Jason |
Tried it several times and still get the same errors.
Sorry, Steve |
FUCK
|
No go for me. :(
|
The good news is that the 500 errors are gone
The bad news is that the submit page seems to be hanging &/or timing out - thus the "no dns" errors. Richard is looking at that as I type :) |
Any luck greenguy i miss being listed on your LL |sad|
question sometimes do other link list donate some links for someone starting a link list as i am http://pornoplentyxxxlinks.com its a find time project thing that i want to get going soon |
Greenguy,
You might want to check http://www.algcash.com/ I have been trying off and on for the last 15 hours and continute to get 500s errors. |
plateman - Richard will be looking at the submit page tomorrow for me - the 500 errors seem to be gone, but the submit page is timing out for some reason :(
Also, if you need links, surf around, find sites you like & then list them - just make up your own descriptions :) Chop - algcash is no dns at the moment - Anne's fighting with the registrar right now :( |
Fonz (and everyone else)
Can you please try & submit a site to me & see if the problem is now solved? |
