Text is fine for both Jays and Marks.
Just make sure on Jays you get both links correct - the category and main.
Other than that, it's a lot easier to review when they all look uniform and are readable.
6x5 I'll have to see, but I've listed 5x5 so 30 probably isn't a stretch. (though I'm guessing 5x6 would fit easier)

I have built some recip tables in 5X5 as I found 5X6 a bit big.

I have submitted 5 FS with custom recips to Jays but I think none was listed till now.I'll send you a pm with the links and I'd be more than happy if you can take a fast review and tell me if there was a problem with the recip or anything.

I would MUCH rather be listed with 30 other sites if that was your only doorway, then with just five sites that you never promote that doorway.

And I love text recips, as long as you link to my index page and category page you are submitting to, go for it as far as customizing the links. I do the same thing for the free sites I build. :)

I don't even care if you change the text slightly (although don't put big fat babes if submitting to secretary porn for instance, keep on topic) because google also loves if you have varying anchor text for links too, so it doesn't look like you are trying to artificially inflate your link pop.

I do accept text recips - however I dont accept domains hosted on N*tponds servers so it might be tough to get listed based on some of your domains

I never submit sites hosted on netpond servers.The only domain hosted on their servers is magnoody.com and I'm thinking about changing it to a personal/WM resources site showing my info,link exchanges,my best sponsors,etc... the only thing is that it is getting some SE traffic. |jackinthe

But to be fair,the netpond crew are such a great gang and I was taught everything on netpond and betabrigade and I'm sure they won't redirect traffic or put any shit on their servers. |thumb

One more thing,I checked one of my new domain's statistics and it is showing Links For Sex in the top 5 referers |headbang|

Iggy is a one nice dude.he helped me out when I was starting as I didn't have a CC and he hosted that domain for me for free.I asked him to host a domain for him or pay for it but he said that the domain is not cauzing him any problems and so I kept it on his server to have a different IP and c-class for seo.

I accept text links as long as it looks good and has the right text in it..

also from reading I am gonna up the amount of recips on the free sites I am building to 50 - sike LOL.. I might go 25 or so max

Maybe someone should start a thread saying who does not accept custom text recips and who will not accept 20 + recips on one page as most seem to be cool with it now.

At the moment I am submitting to 100+ LLs and have my freesite mirrored about 10 times. Its hard to fit more than 15 recips in at the moment because so many are quite big.

Think I mentioned elsewhere, but just to make sure...feel free to adjust my recips as necessary. Just please keep the 2 links intact...you can even mix up the anchor text a bit as long as it remains relevant to the niche...and I'd like to see 'Free Porn Post' remain intact for branding purposes :)

Oh, and please keep them visible. It's amazing how many submissions I get with my recip almost the same color as the bg |dizzy|

thanks dude - I'll be updating my recips slowly over time to make them neater so that hopefully I can make a bigger recip table with 20 recips in. Ill be checking back to this thread to see what everyone likes.

Preacher: The background of your site appears white in firefox (on my PC anyway) so you cant read the text. You might wanna look inot that. I'm looking on the submit rules page.
