Just thought I'd mention that previously earned $100 webmaster referrals aren't showing up in the new stats system, just in case that was overlooked when the old stats were migrated over.

Extreme John 2003-12-09 09:29 PM

All data has been transfered over accordingly, perhaps the time for the webmaster to be active had expired? Were they active within 30 days, obtaining the minimum 5 signups? Reason I ask, is this is the first time we have heard about this issue, I will go over it with techs tommorow as well.

evildick 2003-12-10 09:50 AM

Yes, they are definately not showing up in my account. These are definately referrals that had become active and were shown that way in the old stats.

8/16/03 - 8/31/03
had 2 active webmaster referrals in this period

9/16/03 - 9/31/03
had 1 active webmaster referral in this period

11/01/03 - 11/15/03
had 1 active webmaster refeerral in this period

You can definately verify that the ones for the first two periods were valid, because I had emailed Nate about a check and he told me a check was sent on December 4, 2003. (apparently there was a slight mixup so the check was delayed until then for some reason)

If you want to have someone take a look at my account it is:
evildick

Or ask Nate about it.

Thanks!

I hear you hired this eXtremly Spaztic Yankee guy from Ohio.

Any truth to that rumor?

Extreme Paychecks changes their stats & tracking & some link problems come up. Go to their support area & email them - that's what they have the support area for.

ARS changed over all their stats a few weeks back & all hell broke loose on their board. Today, it's running better then ever.

Hell - I remember when Ultracash changed their stats/admin & I was fucking pissed....for about a week, then I got used to the new admin & I was a happy camper.

Lighten up.

Go thru the proper channels.

For Christ sakes it's fucking Christmas time! |santa|

Hey Evil can you do me a favor and send this stuff through the admin so I can have the tech look at it word for word and go over it to be 100% sure, did some homework on it today and didnt see any issues of lost data anywhere else in the proggie (not saying this isnt true), just saying I want a solid paper trail in the system of this issue.

GoNzO yes it's very true we recently hired some Spaz :) Great . guy, and an excellent addition to the team

evildick 2003-12-10 11:02 PM

bret 2003-12-11 12:56 AM

just did a quick check...

it's not limited to the stats page. it happens on any page inside the EP members area.

Extreme John 2003-12-11 12:39 PM

Hey bret im actually hoping someone else has a Mac so i can see what the issue might be (not blaming JUST your computer ofcourse), but just to get a good concept of what might be causing this issue.

Evil Dick, I have the tech working on this issue and hope to have an answer to you through the admin sometime soon.

bret 2003-12-11 12:47 PM

john,

yeah i knew that... but i just wanted to give you the most accurate information i could. like i said, it is not an isolated issue with the stats page, but the entire members area...

GonZo 2003-12-12 10:38 AM

Did you ever find anything out about this? It still doesn't show my past active webmaster referrals in the stats. My ticket was marked as "read" last week but no one told me anything.

I do not normally use Safari I'm a Mozilla user, but I did just try it in Safari and yeah it doesn't work, just keeps on asking for the user ID/Password over and over again. The worse part is even hitting cancel doesn't help and you end up having to force quit Safai. :(

Personally I wish that Apple had based their browser on Mozilla code and not KDE's code, but I don't run Apple, just get paid to support its product. ;)

Safari is based on the *nix KDE's browser

Apple's Safari page

Apple's developer's page on Safari

Extreme John 2003-12-15 07:04 PM

Cleo, thank you for finalizing this issue for me I will also create a ticket on this as well.

Evil Dick, yes I did read your Support Ticket last week when you sent it in, I did that so i could get the details of if over to our Tech department, Im just awaiting a final response in regards to this, I have it on my Daily To Do List for tommorow, so Ill give you an update via the Ticket area once we go over it tommorow, sorry it's taking some extra time, not sure what the hold up is just yet.

Cleo 2003-12-15 07:13 PM

John you may want to pick up a cheap Mac in order to test your stuff, depends on how much you care about your Mac traffic.

You can find eMacs for under $700
http://www.apple.com/emac/
Just be sure to get a decent about of memory, 384 would be the minimum.

Either that or you can bug me to check you stuff. ;)

Extreme John 2003-12-15 07:28 PM

Cleo I have been saying for years I wanted to shove a bad ass Mac in the office to test stuff on to make sure the Mac traffic was getting love, but you know kinda out of site out of mind, I do need to chuck one in here. BUT until than.... Pssssstttttt Hey Cleo, can you check ________
