If it is Adam - give him a shout - he can be gruff sometimes but he is a fair, honest, and tough sensible businessman. Him and his wife have a great sense of their niche which I am sure you are profitably aware of.

The "tone" of an email can oftentimes be misleading. So talking with him is the best way to go. When you can each give your opinions more directly on why or why not to make an exception then I am sure you will both come to an understanding that fosters better biz between you.

Ummmmmmmmmmmm....

Of course if that fails then we would love to work with you... |waves|

Far-L, I appreciate what your saying, but I rarely give someone a second opportunity to blow me off. I've re-read Adam's email reply numerous times looking for various intended meanings. I've yet to come up with one that isn't disrepectful and unprofessional.

Since I deal almost exclusively with independent "amateur" sponsors I've gone out of my way to establish a presence in the community, let them know I'm trustworty and professional. Some of those that have posted in this thread can attest to that personally. I will simply send my traffic elsewhere.

As for your program, I've been signed up for some time and have been eagerly waiting while you sort out your promo content area. I look forward the getting checks from you on a regular basis. I just love getting money in the mail. :D

That just sounded like a really "I'm tired of webmasters asking for everything" type response. Those people/sponsors need to step away from their keyboard and come back later when they are less burned out and realize that a legitimate question requires a thoughtful response.

If your affiliates can not use the content you provide and you refuse to assist them, and you can't see the point of making it right, it won't be long before you're like a fish on a beach gasping for air...

I would agree that webmasters have gotten spoiled and really don't put the effort into doing good work, but here you have a webmaster this IS willing and wants to do a good job and the sponsor says "I can't please everyone?" He should send you the pics out bigger. You can't make a bigger jpg from a smaller one b/c of the compression issues. It will look like crap.

I'd move on to another sponsor... there are plenty that are willing to do what it takes to make you both profit from your work.

I guess I could have said all that with a simple /agreed but I had to rant my 2 cents LOLOL

and not that this has anything to with anything.. but this is my "69th" post... 69 is such a great number ;)

Move on Toby. <-That was my original advice. You can email him one more time and just let him know that if you can't get content required to submit to his tgps, you can't afford to submit his galleries just to have them declined because of the size of the images. Sure, it'd be great to be able to submit endlessly to TGPs and LLs, but many of us pay to submit a certain number of galleries and our submissions are money to us. We just can't afford not to get listed.
If he can't understand that then move on gracefully.->

Thanks, have already moved on. I pulled all links from my sites two days ago. Theres only one gallery still getting traffic from earlier TGP submits, all others have been removed from my server. I'll remove this last one too once the stats show it's no longer getting hits. I'd remove it now, but don't want to leave an active 404'd link on another TGP's site.

I'm not going to email again just to rub his nose in it, that's just not my style.

Well she is right, you can't please everyone...but you don't come right out and say it. I would be shocked if I received an email like that..however...as was pointed out earlier, it could be that the girl took it as just a complaint and not a request for something larger.

If she brings in a few sales, I would email back and see if the attitude is any differet

That ship has sailed.
