Hmm, with the board member count here being: 5,928 ya think they MAY have cut their own throats with more than just GG? |banghead| |banghead| |banghead|

Bottom line is that I was fine until he mentioned galleries & that set me off. As a Link List owner, I can not fucking stand when people try to push galleries on me.
Had he looked at my referrals, he'd have seen that they all of the sales I've generated came from link-o-rama.com & they are all listed under Pay Sites on the category pages. So because this ass basically cold called me & did no homework, I'm the ass for getting upset? And let's not pretend that this little ICQ marketing ploy was not just a way to get personal with your affiliates. You've done this with 400 webmasters? Really? I'm betting that's most, if not all of your affiliates. I base this on my sales rank for this Pay Period that you have posted in the stats area: Sales Rank: #14 I've sent TWO sales this period. If your #14 affiliate has 2 sales, you do not have much more than 400 affiliates total. Send a fucking email like everyone else does. Captain Obvious should have given up when I said no thanks. He should have realized that he was ignorant to my needs as a webmaster when I said that I didn't do that much with galleries. Hell, according to CaptainObvious, he should have never sent me the 2nd ICQ, since I didn't reply to the 1st one. |

I cant believe these two guys are in here defending an operation that's probably pulling in less money in a month than they could make selling lemonade on the fucking corner. |

If you think our #1-13 affiliates do 1-2 joins a day each you're straight out wrong. I don't understand where you guys get the "cold calls" and "telemarketing" bullshit from - I'm not trying to sell you anything, I just wanted to tell you about our new sites. I don't care if you only have 1 site, I start off with everybody giving them galleries to see where they direct me since MOST webmasters own more than 1 site - you're the ONLY person to turn it into such a big issue. I'm done here, I have more important things to work on, like I said in the ICQ, don't list the 123 sites on greenguy, I don't give a fuck. |

THAT is the problem I have. Right away your rep is calling a valued affiliate (all affiliates are valuable IMO) an asshole. Don't you think there's a problem with that?????????????? If Greenguy said hey you're an asshole for contacting me, fuck off Captain still should just say sorry you feel that way. Good bye. Calling affiliates an asshole should NEVER EVER be an okay thing to do. |huh |

To : Greenguy no thanks __________________________ Once this has been said what else is there left to say other then "Thank you have a nice day"? This is where it went from "just letting you know" to "telemarketing/spam" |

I have come to 2 conclusions with you. 1) You don't read posts. 2) You read but just don't understand and assume things. NEVER did Captain say that affiliates aren't important, just that they aren't our main income source. Don't assume things. Affiliates are important and it's Captains job to contact them to get them making cash with the program and he's doing a damn good job. |

If an affiliate manger quits there, they are bad reps. We have many tools to offer so if an affiliate doesn't like one, we can offer them more. |
unfuckinbelievable

I'd hit it. :D
Oh wait.. wrong board.. someone must have opened the cages. oh and no fucking fat jokes or i'll have to sit on someone!! |escape| |

you certainly are smarter than the captainobvious fellow in your employment, you should probably be doing the rep'ing and posting and not that doofus with a shitpot attitude and a lack of communication skills. for what its worth you dont know me, if you did, you'd know I almost finished a degree in literature and am quite capable of reading and understanding most posts, especially finding subtext, as I've done with what your friend has written. :) |

Tons of people are different, this is the internet, it's hard to read people. Captain says things like he means them. Affiliates aren't everything, he is right, that doesn't mean they aren't important which is exactly what he said and I know that's exactly what he means. Subtext on the internet is like a blind woman playing guess your cock size with your pants still on. |loony| Emotions don't exist on the internet, impossible to read. |

From what I'm reading here, the problem seems fairly obvious (pun intended) - the people who run Metal Cash are a bunch of unbelievably ignorant cunts who don't have enough affiliates to make their program worth running, so they're spending their afternoon here continuing this piss thread in order to draw attention to themselves. A roadkill racoon's ass which as been rotting in the sun for three days would leave a better taste in my mouth than Metal Cash's performance here today.
I've had a few sponsor reps hit me up in the past with nothing more than a "hey there, I'm your rep, let me know if you need anything" and they always know enough to leave me alone when I don't express any interest. Good on 'em. But that CaptainOrifice dude is one dumb fucker. That, or he's just starved or attention. He's a neglected child wandering around looking for hugs. It's all so sad. |

Yes, it is good that he doesn't work for me. I can also guarantee you that none of his salary will ever be in part paid from any sales I might have sent your direction. |

Just you implying that affiliates aren't making money with my program isn't cool. And like I said before it's hard to tell what people actual imply over the internet so I could be wrong with you saying that people aren't making a good income with my program and assuming that you mean everyone above him. ;) |
OK, let me get this right to make sure I can read and understand.....
This started as "I want to help you" and turned into the "dont be an asshole" remark. Seems somebody missed a few lessons in Basic Customer Service 101. Anybody that worked for me that did that would be out the door immediately. But the thing that I find the most offensive is Josh coming in and trying to back him up and justify his inexcusable behaviour. If it we me and I was the bos there, I would be coming in trying to clean up the mess that had been made, not jumping in the ring to sling punches myself. I do run an affiliate program and realize that not only are my affiliates also my customers, they rank right up there as the most important. I just dont see how anybody could miss that. Is it just me?? |

Sorry if you don't like my practices. Best of luck with your program. |
This is so simple. DUDE you came at GG with an offer. He told you no. Then you hard press. Please, your not making much of a case here in fact you are killing your own program. The shit has not even started and you are just being so stupid. You must have went to some fucked up business school. Heres some advice on which you could have avoided this whole nightmare. You come on the board say, sorry I was over worked blah blah. And forget it. Tomorrow is another day, and you still hold face and get get traffic. Now you are just looking to kill the site before it ever gets off the ground. Sit back have a drink and think about how you are going about business right now and how it's going to be screwed down the road. Heres the post, if it's wrong or edited then put up your side.
