I spent a couple days playing with then shit canning another aggregator script last week I’m sure the only way I’m going to get what I want is to get a script coded for me and I just don’t feel up to the grind of putting a project like that together right now. Hey Bill I spent a couple hours playing with Gallery Scraper this morning Install was very easy only took a few minutes It does a good job of scraping galleries but doesn’t scrape feeds I would buy the script in a heart beat if he added the ability to scrape Sponsor Feeds and Sponsor Hosted Free Sites. Also would like more control over the image grabbing and a thumbnail of the image in gallery details and editing |

It does do what it purports to do, and the feeds seem well formed and work fine with wpautoblog. But, like you mention, I wanted more tools and control in the critical importng operations, and I want the same tools in the gallery database editing area. I don't like that it only allows you to enter a gallery url once, and won't even let you overwrite an older url, you have to delete the first url before you can add it again (and try to scrape it again and re-write the description and long description. It works best when I use it to import about ten galleries at a time, and then write some original text by visiting the gallery. I've been using Blog Post Builder and am way more impressed with it. I can do a gallery post almost as quickly, and the post is much higher quality, because I selected and cropped the pic myself, renamed the jpg, put in alt text, and had what I needed to write a good entry. I was still pretty much planning on buying Gallery Scraper and Blog Organizer - I hope Blog Organizer is more completely thought out than the current version of Gallery Scraper. |

The downside of BO is there aren't a bunch of plugins like WP I'm going to pass on Gallery Scraper for now, I want to see what photo I'm useing and I'm used to just pasteing the info into a template then pasteing that into the blog |

Would you give me a few examples of the kinds of things you do with it? How would it compare to something like Auto Blogging Pro, which I gather is the top of the line in commercially available blog control scripts? |

http://www.sexy-solos.com and http://www.retrobro.com are both BO blogs that haven’t been updated in along time. Sexy Solos is Chop’s I don’t know how well it’s doing but I can tell you that Retrobro has made $67 so far this month, and I’m sure it would be doing better if it were a wordpress blog and I was aggressively seeking links. I helped Chop with his Sponsor Feeds for awhile and we were using BO to post to all of his blog’s it was nice having one admin to manage all the blogs from and the scheduling would be very useful for anyone that writes posts in advance of the date they want them published. I talked to Kaktus yesterday, he’s graduating in July and will have very little time to work on anything besides his school work until then so I would wait on his scripts if your going to want anything customized. |

If you want to manage your blogs, take in feeds and disseminate where and when they get posted, BO will do a pretty good job of it. If you want some advanced features like keyword search and replace...well you need apb. I am currently managing 4 WP blogs with it. Hand written posts and selectively picking where and when to post them to each of the blogs. As soon as I'm able to finish a couple long term projects I'm into I plan on expanding and including feeds as well. |
