Update from Vivian
They are preparing to move Pat out of ICU into a room. I am a little confused by Vivian's message, but it looks like he will have to recover from this before they do surgery. If that is the case he might be home in five days if all goes well and then would have to return to the hospital for surgery.
He ain't out of the woods yet but things look a bit brighter. |
I've heard that Chop needs to brush up on his Spanish- anybody out there that can help him?
Saturday, I learned that 'cochino' means a disgusting pig. Vegas must have been rough unless you were a fart smeller.
I did feel bad for Vivian in Vegas - I think our comfort level with each other while partying in Linkster's suite kinda freaked her out a bit |fart|
Best wishes from Colorado - get well!
Good luck for good health. Hope to see you back soon.
Man, that sucks. Unfortunately, I know how his poor wife feels. Having a spouse in the hospital, and fearing the outcome is a horrible experience. My thoughts and prayers are with them.
Ohhh missed this when I checked in earlier.. Hope Tpat feels better soon. I only saw him and the missus briefly as I was leaving Vegas and they were arriving :(
I chatted with Vivian. TPat is at home but confined to bed as something has happened to his back and he has trouble walking. He has to get over that and the blood clot and then will return to the hospital for surgery.
Glad to hear he's home Chop :)
Really hope his recovery, surgery and recovery again is as smooth as possible. |
I am so sorry to hear that, missed the thread earlier fighting this stubborn flu. I wish him a lot of patience and a healthy recovery ;)
Not good news .. Hope he has a speedy recovery and rejoins us soon as he can.
Glad to hear he's home, that part is good news at least.
thanks for the news Chop.
I hope Tpat will get well soon. |

I had bilateral pulmonary embolisms, the first time I recall hearing of a pulmonary embolism was in 2003 when David Bloom the NBC journalist that was embedded with the 3rd Infantry Division in Iraq had one. I remember thinking when he had his that it was a very unsexy but painless way to die. I was only half right it feels just like getting your ribs kicked in. The drugs were great so I really wasn’t worried about anything, but was told after I got out of ICU that I’m very lucky that I didn’t die or have a massive stroke. FanTC, MajStress and everyone else involved thanx for the plant, I really appreciate the gesture. Chop I am very privileged to be able to count you among my friends the ICQ’s between you and my wife helped her get through this ordeal more than you will ever know. To add insult to injury I threw my back out right before they released me from the hospital but that’s ok they sent me home with plenty of pain pills. So anyway this cat’s still got a few lives left, I’m ok now and I’ll get back into the swing of things soon and y’all need to get back to work :D |
Great to hear your feeling better!! Man, you've got a lot of friends here :D
