I had an idea all this would shake things up but I had no idea it would affect me as much as it already has. I've received several submits already from board members that have never submitted to me before |bananna| Oddly enough, they didn't take advantage of the 4 links out |huh And remember, all three of my lists are open to LOR trusted submitters |pimpin

Using 3 links is a habit i think. I made my free site and totally forgot i could use 4 links.

Hehehe.. some of us are still ramping back up, and working on our recip tables. This has been a great resource, and perfectly timed. I will say, too, that I am seeing link lists that I have not noticed before.

As far as structural changes, I am not planning on making many. You may see a bonus gallery tossed in here and there, but I don't want to increase links out or clutter my clean porn up with much else. It is just cool knowing I can add these promo tools and who will accept them.

Thanks for all the hard work, and I love seeing all these new places to submit.

After checking all the posts about the new LOR rules I count 29 link lists that will follow suit. i make recip tables using 9 or 12 recips/table so we need a few more to get on the wagon.

Any sites using the new rules are more then welcome at either of my sites.

I'm experimenting a bit with the whole links out thing. I do well with my AVS sites that have no links out before the signup page so I'm working on a kind of meld of styles that fits the fs format with less ads.

Hell - I just got all my templates for the old format finished - LOL

I'll build a few as soon as I have time to redo a few recip tables.

I too have received more sites in the new format that I initially thought I would!

And I count 42 LL's that will accept the new format.

I already submit to 35 of them and 7 that I will add to my list.

I'm not about to change my rules pages quite yet, but anyone who already submits to my sites and gets accepted regularly won't have a problem with the new format.

There's actually more - add Grennie's three and your two that I don't have content for and that makes - well, lets see.... 47. And there were a few in the other thread that liked the idea but never came out and said if they accept the new format or not. They should post in this thread :D

Two or three posters in this thread have referred to a "new format." What is this new format? |huh

Also, amongst the list of things trusted submitters are allowed to do that normal submitters are not, what are you excited about? Inquiring minds want to know.

And no - my posting in this thread should not be considered a reason to add my lists to your, um, list. There are a few things I take exception to.

For starters I can get into movies again and not have to get hit with a 80 dollar bandwidth bill.I can have a main page and do a 'bonus gallery' type thing along with my standard galleries.I'm hoping it will snap surfers out of that robot like 'click,click,click,next site,click' mode.Theres a bunch of other ideas I have but for now,this alone excites me.You didn't think I was doing back flips over a private whois did you?

I tend to think being able to use webmaster tools like flash and iframes will help overall sales. I think people are used to seeing them and without them sites look a little bare and surfers will click away to find something more exciting...this should help retain surfers longer. I read somewhere the longer a surfer stays on your site the more likely they are to whip out the credit card, and flash video clips will keep people on my site a little longer, i think.

I'm hoping the 4 ads per page will lead to more sales, too. I have to be careful with that one though as I have a tendency to build banner farms...I'm thinking I will probably try to use smaller button ads, and little text links, probably shit I should already be doing, but now I will be almost forced to do it if i'm gonna get 4 ads on a page.

The biggest thing for me though, is hosted galleries. Many (not all) sponsors have killer galleries, professionally designed and far better than anything I could come up with, plus it cuts building time in half or more. Greater quantity AND better quality...a win win, not mention the whole 2257 thing...and bandwidth...and...you get the picture.

Oh yeah, while excited isn't the right word, I am somewhat intrigued by...dare I say this...auto-submitting.

Well, I don't need more submitters since I already have a queue that makes my bowels ache at night as if I'm getting DP'd, so I'm not going to jump on the bandwagon.

The only people my opinion should really matter to are those who already have submission accounts with me, so the rest of you can skip past this, or finish cooking your Ramen, or go screw something. The only reason I'm even posting is so that I won't get angry emails later when your sites get rejected months from now when I reach today's submissions in my queue.

Here goes:

Flash movies WHICH ARE HOSTED ON YOUR SERVER are fine. Do not embed sponsor hosted Flash movies. Your Flash movies may NOT be linked to anything when clicked, ie a paysite tour. You may use javascript to get past IE's two-click issue. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, you aren't ready to use Flash movies anyway.) I don't care if you have full player controls or just a play button.

I will, of course, accept MovieRoom ;) Flash banners. I use them and I deem them trustworthy.

Counters? No, you silly newbie. Just because I trust you doesn't mean I trust SexTracker and friends.

Free/Sponsor hosting. No. Of course, I assume a couple of you use sponsor hosting anyway, but the ones I suspect have been submitting quality movie sites for a long time, so I'm not digging any deeper. But as a rule, no.

Hotlinking? LOL Oh, you people make me laugh and laugh.

iframes? Depends on the ad and the sponsor and the submitter.

Sponsor hosted galleries? If you submit a free site which consists of an index page, a main page, and two hosted galleries, it will be the last free site you ever submit to me, you lazy newbie slob. (I say that with love in my heart) If you do something simple and common like link to a hosted gallery as a bonus gallery, that's fine. Why would I care?

Maximum ads? I'm not a link counter. Presentation and navigability are what I'm looking for, not the number of links out. If you submit an original work of art/free site with quality clips that give me a giggle, inspire me, or remind my cock what porn is good for, I don't care if you link to your sponsor eighty times on that page, assuming it doesn't look like poo.

Autosubmitters: I'm still against them, but I'm not going to act like I can stop you. There are a couple of you who consistently have line breaks after at the end of your descriptions. If you aren't using submission software, then you suck horribly at copying and pasting.

I was excited about Free Site 1.5, but I didn't get that past the porn congress.

The iframes are what I like, they pull like shit pulls stink, and give me checks every week that I would like to make into bigger checks.
I might experiment with the hosted galleries thing as well, the thought had never crossed my mind and it seems easy enough to do.
People who submit to me have partner accounts as well, and nobody with free hosting will get a PA from me, same goes for a hidden whois, but if you're a partner that means I trust you, if I see something I don't like I'll let you know.
And I'm not really jumping on a bandwagon, I've always allowed a lot of leeway to those who submit to me.
