Yes it did. I can't click on any of them because of the other issue but they all fit on one monitor now. :D

Took a nap and then came back to another new look.

The update also fixed a small problem that the old version had. I have always had the email option set on, even though the old verison said "There may be other replies also, but you will not receive any more notifications until you visit the forum again.", it did work correctly and an active thread would produce lots of emails. The new version seems to work.

YUCK!!! I hate this new board look. I am not a fan of the puky mint green and its soooo slow for me, it takes over 90 seconds to load a page now. Maybe if I disable displaying sigs/avatars/images it will speed up.

The speed issue might be that I am running a really big process in the admin because none of the old threads were showing up when you did a search.

And if you don't have sig files turned on, mind if I just remove yours |couch|

I think the speed increase is due to you having far less hair in your avatar.

When I stopped furrowing my brow in the.... WTF? manner, and the board finished loading and I finally found the 'new posts' link.... (almost panicked that I would have to learn to read the board in a new way lol) I said, cool beans... looks great.

chillhost... the speed problem if you're on a slower host, could be that you had a lot of the old board in your cache... when this one gets in there, it will probably lower load time... possible anyway

Did notice that I dont seem to be able to change the custom quote above the avatar - and the emails I got for this thread auto opened page 2 although I had replied/read up to page 4 - but that doesnt seem to be out of line with most boards

its definately the sigs that is slowing it down for me, I just came back online and started browsing and it was slow again, but then I noticed that I was no longer logged in so I logged in (which got rid of sigs) and it is totally lightning fast.

Damn! I go to work & come back to this.........still haven't checked out all the features. But I love the new look & new logo!

It's a wireless isp that uses radio sygnals with transmitters placed under street lights throughout town (faster than dial up slower than dsl)

The board people did a few things that make the board load faster. You may notice the views on threads only update once/hour. We also have a few other server upgrades that seems to have made things faster. And of course, urb...The Man. The official Greenguy And Jim designer :)
