Step two: Soil the underpants
|
I would love to be a fly on the wall when they start seeing the traffic stats fall and have the hardest time getting them back up (if they can). We have all been there. You try something to increase the traffic and the next few days watch it like a hawk only to see it's not really doing what you had hoped and now you have to come up with a new plan. Oh man that just sucks, but when you do it to yourself it's kind of funny.

I read this fiasco just after reading a welcome email I got from Blazing Bucks and the contrast is amazing! John must have spent ages looking around my linklist, complimented me on a number of things :D (that always works for me) Then he offered assistance with stuff that actually was of some use to my sites.. even down to images the same size as I use on ads there.
I only joined Blazing Bucks because I use hfslinks.com and need some free sites lol. But due that lovely personal email I will be going back and taking a better look at what they have to offer. |
There's an old saying that goes something to the effect of "Don't shit where you eat"...
These guys just dumped a big steaming load right in the middle of their dinner plates |loony| Oh, Step three: 'Whoopsie, me did a messy' |

Ah, it actually was worth to go thru this thread.
Found two programs I don't promote and signed up to one already. Hard to quess which one it is. :) |
Yep, I'd definitely vote for BlazingBucks.com too. I just started promoting them on a low-traffic MGP and have had signups for 1000facials (1:333), Throated (1:165), and OnlyTeenBlowjobs (1:917). Pretty good for MGP traffic.
Simon P.S. I do wish they had some nice wide banners, something around 700px wide for each site would be great. |
allways nice to get insulted :(

This does say it all :) When you work with "the public", be it paying customers, affiliates, or just people, you should never be rude to them, no matter how annoying they are. "He started it", is something I hear from my kids at home (2 and 4 years old) and has no place when you do business. Sometimes it's not easy sitting on our hands and not typing back what we think. Bottom line though, whether you're a sponsor rep, a moderator on a board or "just a webmaster", it's best not to be rude and aggressive. Just doesn't reflect well on your business. |
