Chop I am in the same boat on my good team that is still hunting for some year end money. The second team I have I picked a few odd picks to go against the grain and I have 3 wrong on it only. Some teams should have won like Detroit with Garcia playing and Jacksonville against St. Louis's backup team.

I think I'm 9-4 going into tonight, which is a victory in my book :D

Figures my bad team went 11-3 but my good team only went 9-5 and dropped to 2 points out of the money instead of 1. The good news is they are both my good teams now with a chance to finish in the year-end money.

Chop - not that I don't love ya & all, but some of those numbers seem to be off - I think we shoul dall have the same total for wins & losses - some have 114, some have 115 :(

I will check. Think the good Doc made a mistake on Fonz. I have this little thingy program to do those standings. The Palms (148xx) would have a total of 115 and the Gold Coast (3470x) would have 114. The first week the Palms had 15 on their card.

Can't wait until Tuesday. Going into Monday Night I am at 11-2 and have Indianapolis.
Now I am thinking this could be Ramster's week. If I can do 12-2 this week, he should pull a 14/0. Damn it! I want someone from the board to win some money.

BOTH Teams are 12-1. One team I picked NewOrleans wrong and the other team has the Titans wrong. If only I'd got those switched I'd have a 13-0 team and a 11-2 team. Both have Indy tonght.

In Canada we can play ProLine Pools. Same thing you pick the winners. If you get all 14 right you win. Depending on how many upsets there are (the prize money is split between all winners) the prize can be $600 to $100,000 when upsets win. Last week was 4 winners of $70,482. I went out on a limb and took GreenBay to beat Pitt and that is the only game I have wrong. (Had GreenBay won, an upset...there'd be less winners and one of those $30K-$70,000 prizes). :(

Last year an old guy was the only person to pick all 14 right when there were 3-4 big upsets and he won $404,000 (tax free).

one of the guys in the rio pool is 13-0 ..if he wins tonight.. he'll be 14-0 and in the $$ .. the winner of the weekly pool is the 14-0 and closest on the tie breaker.. the rest split the $$ so i'm crossing my fingers for the palms to have no 14-0 winners, for you RAM.. and GOOD job Chop & GG on upping your stats..

What does that mean? I have a chance at winning some money if Indy wins and the score is in the 47 or 44 pts I picked? (If noone ends up with 14-0?)

I always have problems understanding folks with letters after their names.

I think Doc Holly is saying if no one goes 14/0 in the Palms pool that you stand a damn good chance to get some bucks.

I further believe that she says that one of her marks in the Rio pool is at 13/0 and could win if he has the correct pick in tonight's game.

The guy in Rio could win the $10K prize (or whatever it is)? Nice!!! That is why I was pissed at 2 12-1 teams rather than a 13-0 and a 11-2 team.

sorry my goodhead was giddy at the thought of someone from here actually being in the $$$ woot.. rather than the "mob" boys from Lon Giland.

If no one at the palms gets 14-0 and Ram gets 13-1 he'll be in the $$. If his 13-1 team has the closest pick to the total score he'll get the 10K .. otherwise he'll split the pot with who every else is 13-1.
