I have used this thread to create a new business plan inspired by what I have learned today

1) create an affiliate program
2) insult webmasters via ICQ
3) when he defends himself publicly, insult everyone who agrees with him
4) profit

Wow, nice to see this thread has taken on a life of it's own. It is also really funny to watch people try to squirm away from the obvious.

Captain Obvious: I think the most obvious thing at play here is that you very likely live in your mom's basement, aren't old enough to get a drink in Vegas, and have the social skills of poorly formed concrete (IE: none). You started uninformed, moved along to rude, stepped through individually insulting and moved right on to insulting pretty much all potential affiliates for the program. I would have to say that Josh is getting good value for money here, provided you are paying him.

Your name calling insulting "asshole" and "asshat" might not raise an eyebrow over at go fark thyself, but here you are pretty much done, reduced to the level of unamusing child banging the back of my seat on an airplane.

Josh, let me give you a business tip: When your "staff" starts calling your affiliates names, the best choice usually is to come in, explain that your new affiliate guy is, well, uncultured, and apologize for his potty mouth. Coming here and standing behind his insults and rude behavior and adding your own on the top tells me that the captain learned his affiliate skills from you. Sadly, you had no skill, so he learned nothing.

I am totally shocked that I can type metalcash without it being turned into ******** at this point.

Metalcash sites go off my acceptable program lists as well.

Given the history, this thread isn't really so surprising now. This team lives and dies by skirting the edges, then simply shutting down when too many bad decisions mount up. The good news is...with the kind of business savvy displayed here...they very likely won't be around long.

This is just fuckin unbelievable. I went to metalcash.com to check them out and noticed that CaptainObvious was hired just 10 days ago. Exactly what are the criteria the HR department use when hiring empoyees:

1) Must be able to cause drama on adult webby boards
2) alienate many current and potential affiliates
3) piss off large LL webmaster affiliates

I mean I think that this metalcash review serves as a great discussion for metal cash review and it gives metal cash a lot to think about. I mean if you're wondering whether or not metal cash, also known as metalcash at metalcash.com may be cheaters or non payers or something, this thread would be a great way to find out by reading this thread especially if you're coming from google or other engines.

Maybe we need a minimum age requirement. Not just for posting here, but for being an adult webmaster. Or at least for running paysites and affiliate programs.

Then again, maybe we just need a test.

Something like "draw lines to connect the webmaster names on the right-hand column with the websites they own in the left-hand column."

I think these guys are just misderecting their frustrations...and this biz is full of them. Like when I started out nobody wanted to trade links with me but I did not call them assholes...I understood and said: thank you and when I get more traffic I hope you change your mind |headbang|

I would love to be a fly on the wall when they start seeing the traffic stats fall and have the hardest time getting them back up (if they can). We have all been there. You try something to increase the traffic and the next few days watch it like a hawk only to see it's not really doing what you had hoped and now you have to come up with a new plan. Oh man that just sucks, but when you do it to yourself it's kind of funny.

I read this fiasco just after reading a welcome email I got from Blazing Bucks and the contrast is amazing! John must have spent ages looking around my linklist, complimented me on a number of things :D (that always works for me) Then he offered assistance with stuff that actually was of some use to my sites.. even down to images the same size as I use on ads there.
I only joined Blazing Bucks because I use hfslinks.com and need some free sites lol. But due that lovely personal email I will be going back and taking a better look at what they have to offer.
