I started to submit to fetishphiles a couple of weeks ago. Since then it's been the percentage of 50\50 of declined and approved sites.

All of my sites are done in a similar way. I don't mean they have the same design. On the contrary, all designs are absolutely different. I only leave the index page pretty much the same changing only the sitename image and the background color.

So i wonder why some sites get declined and some get listed.

Tell me what's whong and I'll fix that. But almost all my sites get listed on the majority of LLs i submit to and i really see no reason to decline them (rules - ok, outgoing links - always 3, content - pretty much ok, not too overused; designs - all absolutely different except for the index page).

Your ratio so far is actually 13 approved and 7 declined :) The declined sites were primarily the similarity of your site templates. With the exception of maybe the top graphic and the colors, all the warning pages are basically identical to each other. On the main/gallery pages, while you tend to move things around a bit they're all really similar. "Absolutely different" isn't really an accurate statement.

It's certainly true that I'm more strict on templates and blind links than many LL owners. Using the exact same index page every time with nothing but colors changed will get declines from me after the first few.

Thanks for the comment man. At least your point is clear now. So you suggest that i should try to make my index pages different. Is it fine if i have like 10 different index pages and submit sites with them 1 by 1?

Will you accept sites with 10 indexes alternated and the main/gallery pages done in the same way that i do now?

Being successful at the free site game has a lot of facets. One really big one is variety. Different surfers are enticed to click by different things, and site layout can be a big factor. I suggest that you build a completely unique site for every site you build for one month. If you submit every other day, that will give you 15 completely unique templates. By unique I mean layout, type of graphics, colors, fonts.... really mix things up and push yourself to try new things on every one.

You now have an unlimited number of site layouts, and I have to give Greenguy credit on this because he's the first person I ever saw bring this up....take all those index, main and gallery pages that you now have and use them in different combinations. You might be surprised how one layout might generate a lot of click throughs and sales while others won't, but the only way to learn these things is experimentation.

The biggest danger of templates is submitting a lot of similar sites to the same category and having the surfers think they already looked at one that they haven't.

I hope this cleared things up a bit, and I'd be happy to talk more on the subject if you have any more questions :)

Looking further now, I see that there are a lot of blind links on that site as well :(

I'm using WMP10. When I look at the "properties" of your movie clips I see that no video codec is specified. Perhaps that's the issue.

Hey wels, wrong recip on this one. I've been letting them slide by in the past, but I've got "pantyhose" and "stockings" categories, and lately I've had people using the lingerie recip to submit to them and "upskirt/panty" as well so I'm cracking down :)

Will i get banned from places if I switch up emails? I was using an AOL account, but since it has now been listed as a free account on some LL's I have switched it over to my main url account @cumonsite.com permanantly

For any ll owners reading this I hope you know I am not trying to cheat the submits I just needed to change my email for the sake of getting listed. Also I have been submitting to fetish philes and I haven't recieved any reject letter and I have submitted about 3 or so. Am I in que or is it just I was using an AOL account?

If you're going to change email addresses you need to be pro-active about letting the sites you submit to know about it. If the LL has a "comments" field like I do, put a note in the comments box the first couple times. If they don't have a "comments" field, just send an email to the link list owner at whatever contact address they give on their site. :)

Those pages are something very different from what link lists and TGPs link to. Feel free to read my rules to get a better idea of what to do in order to get approved, and I'd suggest that you read through a lot of the threads on this board that are titled something like "would this get listed".
