But, when link-o-rama declined my submit because of the 120 rule, I thought it was ok to create new directory, with the adjusted content since I would get in trouble with others for changing it as well. I guess I thought wrong which I am sorry. Sheepguy knows that I am new to this because we exchanged some emails regarding it.


What is wrong with my host?

Well, for starters, since when are they a host? They are a sponsor. Not a host. If you are using their free hosting, then you are in violation of the rules. And the rules are life. (amen)

Even if your a "team" you can't both submit a site per day. It's one site between the two of you, or you need to not be a time and have your own domains, ip's, etc.

I don't care about your host, but you just told me in an email that you have been dealing with them for 5+ years, so your newbie status is revoked. You are banned for using fake recips, and there is no appeal for freeloaders masquerading as newbies.

Well, as I explained in my email Sheep, regardless of me having an adult site for that long, I never dipped into anything in this stuff with LL's.

I made a mistake thinking that when having to change certain things to fit ones rules, is not to do what I did. Lesson well learned and I am sorry.

About three weeks ago when I first came to this board, I asked some questions but, got little answers which you even explained that sometimes, the experts just do not have time to answer those questions. So, I researched the best way and slowly got the more info to help me get going on creating my first one.

I know rules are rules and all I can say is that I honestly did not know and I am sorry. I just now made a total ass out of myself and put a bad name out for myself which was not what I wanted to do. Immediately after I read this, I wrote to link-a-rama stating not to post my submission because I screwed up.

I guess the FS thing is not something that I should do but I did want to make a go out of it. Sorry for pissing everyone off.

Why I created that #2 was because my original site title was to long for my 7th or 8th submission. (because I thought that creating my directory like I did was OK) I did that. Me not knowing how to make the changes of title by shortening the title without ruining the prior submissions I just did what made another folder. Just so you all know, there is only 1 and 2 that was submitted.. since I retracted the other one earlier. You all have been doing this for years and I just made my first one last week. Calling me out is cool because that is how I will learn things but, this was in no way intentional.

My reviewer told me (before you even posted - lol) "i rejected this & said bad category since there are no clothes at all, doesnt seem right"

I'm gonna solve this problem and add an office category in the very near future :D

She has to submit from a different IP - the IP that you use for your hosting is of no concern to me.

I think that Camz does offer paid hosting - but I might be mistaken.

I did a search for that and couldn't find anything relating them to paid hosting. The closest thing was when Camz.com purchased AmateurHosting.com back in '05 - and immediately made them into a free host. And thecrow hasn't replied to my comment about his hosting there, so I assume I'm correct on this.

the other day I built my first free site and decided to take the plunge and submit it, before I decided to procrastinate again. I don't know what I was expecting, (since I never built a FS before) but the site was rejected. I was a bit surprised at the reason I was given though, and I still think perhaps there's something else I did wrong that got me rejected. Please let me know what my (sp/grm) mistakes were.. Thanks

Let me double check with the reviewer, but I think that it was rejected for Vid Caps & they picked the wrong reason on the drop-down menu.

silly question, but how do I know if pics are video caps? I admit, i had to strech the pics a little bit to respect the 1200 rule, so I'm wondering if that had something to do with it? it's kinda too bad that this sponsor doesn't provide bigger sized pics i guess.. perhaps i have to change sponsors

Vid Caps tend to have blurry areas (where motion is) and not-so-hard lines on the edges of objects in the pics.

In the absence of an office category at LOR where should one submit an "office sex" site - possibly hardcore/sex?

I also got a rejection for overused template - when you refer to templates are you referring to the gallery pages or does it include the index and main. My index and main pages typically look pretty similar.

1 - yes, any general hardcore site can go into the "sex" category
2 - "templates" refers to the entire site - warning, main & gallery pages

120 Seconds Movie Rule

It was rejected for 120 seconds rule but there are 120 secs worth of movies. 6 vids 20 secs each.

19, 19, 18, 19, 19, 19 - that's the times I see.

Greenie what if I added a third gallery page with 1 video. Would that be okay to make the 120 secs?

I think the rule is 60 sec per page, 120 total.

That was rejected on July 11th. I'm not sure what the reason was, but I see more than one problem:
- the 1st 2 pages have a different color scheme than the last 2
- there's only 3 nude pics
- the size of the pics is way too small
There might be more, but that's what I saw right off the bat.

I will correct color scheme and I will resubmit with new pics. I assume you mean the jpg image size and not the thumb size?
