Dollpix, did you really think that posting those links would help your argument? You aren't appealing to people who are new at what they do. While those two pages may appear to be full page ads, they are nothing more than the intelligent use of available ad space on the allowed free site pages. One is an index and the other is the main page. Neither would be considered an ad-only page because they are part of the standard navigational flow of a free site.

Never use someone else's listed site as a means of comparison or a way of defending your rejected site. Fix what they've asked you to fix or move on. If you don't understand the purpose or details of a rejection, then ask for a better explanation without trying to throw your fellow submitters under the bus or acting in a manner which could be perceived as condescending to the reviewers. If they had made a mistake, which does happen, they would have said so when they re-reviewed the site in your post.

I was advised to view listed galleries to get an idea of what was
acceptable. I wasn't defending my site at all.

I realize that after almost 15 years in this business, I still have
much to learn.

When I started, there were about 13 TGP's and that was it!
I made TGP galleries... That's what I did. There were no Free
Sites as we know them today, no index warning pages, etc..

My Sponsor was Max Cash and I made 8 to 10 grand a month.

so after 15 years and you making that amound of money you are now a millionair and can retire...what did you do, fuck how the hell you dont know about free sites and all, tell me that, i dont fucking believe you, 15 years in biss and you dont even know what a sub domain is ...again yeah right, where have you bin living the last years ...under a stone? i came in this bizz in 2001 the first i learned was about tgp and free sites (yes the index, main and 2 galleries) and the other things sponsor shit an all, so explain where you have bin all these years ....so that means you didnt follow this biss, you live in stone age? or you quited biss after some months and came back now? explain me why you dont know, if you are in this biss, you follow all, all know biss changes every year...i cant imaging you dont know...bullshit

stu - believe it or not, there are a lot of webmasters that think of a "free site" as anything that does not require a membership. That includes tgp's, link lists, blogs, tub sites, etc. It took me a little while to wrap my head around it as well.

The "free site" that we discuss on this board is the one that Link Lists list, and I really wish there was another term for it so that there was no confusion.

So please stop bashing Dollpix - if you look back, there are people that are truly trying to help her - please join us :)

oh i have to say the reason i jumped into this thread was not because they only submit to the linksites i do, but they submit with the page where link o rama and the others are on and the linksites i do, its always handy to know which linksite they get listed to or not, but then also, what i say isnt the issue with other linksites, other linksites other views, so i expect, even i bash someone, that other linksites make their own desicions about people and not what i have said. and yes i shut up now gg|couch|

when i first started this biz my mentor taught me about freesites as linklist know them....and i still make them today....the cool thing was that i was taught to think of them differently. instead of a freesite, we called a freesite an FSA or FULL SITE AD. This helped me as a newbie to remember the point of the freesite, and it would also be a suggestion for the issue at hand. just my two cents, have a good one all.

All I had ever made, until just recently, were TGP galleries
and AVS sites.

Now the TGP traffic has really dropped off. I still have my
AVS sites, but I wanted to try something new.

It has taken me a while, but with the help of some great
guys on here, I have it figured out and I am getting listed.
