If I may be so bold, you are going to find a good number of the LLs are slower for the next 7 days or so - two major conventions in Las Vegas back to back. My experience with LOR is that it is normally a day, sometimes 2-3.

Our free site, http://www.badgirlsporno.org/ was rejected for alleged "Blind or Misleading Links". Since we never place any blind or misleading links in our sites, we are at a loss as to what your reviewers were referring to. We? How many individuals were involved in the construction of those four pages?

Any reciprocal link which doesn't include the NAME of the link list is blind/misleading under LOR's policy. Also, SnizzShare is not a link list, it is not listing your site, and is therefore not a proper reciprocal link. The reciprocal link table for Bookmark Links has a link to pornsitejunkie.com in it. Pornsitejunkie.com is not a link list -- and no recip button should EVER have links to two different domains it.

You'll often find that the reciprocal links published by certain link lists won't mesh with the rules of others.

Your "Do Not Enter" link is crap. There is no reason to have it and it should be tossed.

There's a lot more wrong with that site, but I don't have time write to critique it beyond the warning page.

I have no idea what you mean but it will be rather hard to get any bookmarkers when your Bookmark us! link puts a non-existing (404) page in someones bookmarks (not to mention its on another domain)

Thanks for your feedback, Mateusz. Our bad on the "Bookmark us" link, which we will correct.

In our reply post to Useless Warrior, we were not referring to our "Bookmark us" link, however. Our reference was to to his admonition of the recip banner supplied by link list "Bookmark Links", which includes two different URLs, over which we have no control. It seems that many link lists in this business have their own rules, and it's up to us to figure out how to assimilate them.

If you are looking for a motherly tone, then ask your mother's opinion of your free site. Greenie and MML are at the convention in Las Vegas right now, so I decided to help them by replying to your newbie question. If you wanted the reply of someone less experienced, less confident, you should have said so.

My reply was far from being an admonition and if you read it that way, it's probably due to your own insecurities.

And who is "we?" A free site is not a multi-person task. Though, in your case, it may be a good idea to get some help.

Hey Crown333,I'm not a reviewer for greenie but I can tell you that "Blind or Misleading Links" was about 1 of the 1000 reasons that site won't get listed anywhere and I can't even begin to critique it without turning this post into an essay.

I suggest you and your 'free site building team' take the time to read a bit more.

To set the record straight, you did indeed admonish the "Bookmark Link" link list's recip banner which contained two URLs, that we downloaded from their site and included on our list of recips. That was their banner, not ours, and if it conflicts with this list's rules, then so be it.

Did we not thank you for your comments and critique? If that's not good enough for you, that's too bad, because we will not engage in any tit for tat exchanges with anyone.

Thanks for your comments. While the site has been accepted by most of the link lists we have submitted to so far, we realize this particular link list is more tasking than most. Getting our arms around all those "reasons" you referred to is our objective, and so your advise and comments are appreciated.

If you read the fine print on most webmaster pages, you can safely and easily bypass their rules for using those premade reciprocal link thingies and do your own as long as you follow certain guidelines. One of my tricks is when I see a link list I want to submit to, I read the rules, carefully. I check out a dozen or so sites that they have listed to see what inspirations I draw. Then I read the rules again. If a link list has a rule you can't abide by, don't compromise yourself. Just move on to the next. As to most all of the link lists accepting your site? I will be very very surprised because none of the better known lists you refer to accept blind links. Link-o-rama isn't more tasking - the rules are very clearly stated and fairly applied.

Useless and Mateusz and Starman are all very very valid in their constructive criticism. Perhaps by the time the guys get back you will have a site ready to submit to them. If you ask for help in the newbie forum, I bet you get it. If this doesn't make sense to you, or it raises your hackles, don't resist... don't fight.. just quit while you are ahead.

crown333 - Useless & the other posters hit the nail on the head. There's a lot of things on your site that break my listing rules.

If your site is listed at other places already, your best bet is to just remove my link & then re-read my listing rules. Like you said, it's hard to please every link list, but I think you'll find the ones that I share rules with are more legit & the ones that have 2 domains in their recips are a little sneaky.

As far as the tone of posts, it's text. You added the tone. And this is not some cute & cuddly board - we rarely sugar coat anything since there's no need to do so. You asked & got a very legit reply. Just because it's not the reply you were looking for does not mean it's not correct.

We never questioned the validity of any of the posts made about our site. Our responses to posts will indicate that we geniunely appreciated the comments, critique, and suggestions made by all who took the time to visit our site and make comment. All (except for removing the recip banners) were incorporated in our site. We'd like to thank them again.

Since you mentioned it, we will comment on the suggestion by some that we expect "motherly" treatment or a "cute & cuddly" experience at your forum. We made no such reference, suggestion, or request, as the posts will confirm. After 17 years in the rough and tumble adult business we can exchange "just text" with anyone, but we simply choose taking a different tack. We think it just makes for a more productive exchange. Whatever manner your forum works, however, is fine with us.

Our focus will continue to be merely submitting sites that comply with the link list's rules. We intend to imcorporate the comments and critique made here in any future submissions to you. Thanks.

My disclaimer's intent was exactly as it was stated. I am not one of Greenie's employees. I didn't want you, or perhaps a member of your massive free site-building staff, to assume that I was one of his reviewers or think that my word was the final judgment on your free site.
