|pokefun| All this drama reminds me of a movie that I saw a long time ago called "Me, Myself & Irene"

We were not eager to come into this venue to get the reasons our site was rejected. That's this list's format, however, and so here we are.

From a distance, we've seen this kind of drama many times before, don't particularly like it, and attempt to avoid it. Sometimes, no matter how hard you try to avoid it by being civil, gracious, and appreciative, and no matter how many times you thank everyone for their comments, for reasons we will not attempt to mention, you just can't. So we will just embrace the the civil respondents and blow off the un-civil. Life will go on.

Crown333 - I really do hate to stereotype people, but based on your site & your posts, I truly do not think that I or anyone else on this board can help you with anything. YOU turned this thread into what it's become, not Useless. I ask that you take me off your submit list & have a nice life.

Just Curious

Hi Guys

I first would like to say how much fun I'm having in my first month of posting free sites. The learning curve is large and at times taxing, but trudge on I shall.

I was wondering why my mature site www.hotmodeltease.com/fsan4/ was rejected.

Please clarify so that the mistake will not be repeated.
Thank you

The blue text you are using on your recipt table is hard to read. It almost blends in with the background.

Thanks for the quick reply

I did not like the way it looked either, and it should not happen again.

Thanks for your support

You recipt links to http://debauchery.com/ and http://www.sortlinks.com/ blind they should have the name of link list in them as you have with your others.

GG,

I use to get listed regularly by you but all of a sudden I get no email confirmations for submissions and I have zero traffic from old listings, which suggests to b=me that I might have have been blacklisted. The domain in question was 38dds.com. Could you check this and LMK. I never removed any links and the sites were never taken down so I don't know what the reason could have been. I have always loved Link-O-Rama. Here is a sample site that use to be listed but which no longer is.

It may or may not have been LOR that blacklisted you. Appeal and see what happens.

You've also got 8 outbound links on this page http://www.38dds.com/stacked/nurses/nurses.html Id say thats going against most LL rules as excessive.

Interesting. I have had zero problems with this domain submitting to LLs, except for the problem with GG. I had another domain on that blacklist and appealed but heard nothing back, so I suspect appealing is useless. The reason some of my domains may appear on this list is because last summer I was in the hospital for a few months and as a result my hosting got canceled. The host destroyed my content and I had no backup at the time. As a result, thousands of pages were hopelessly lost forever. I lost every one of my link trades.

NOTE, however, that my current problem with Link-O-Rama has nothing to do with this. He was accepting and listing my sites when I got back online in September of last year. I recently moved and noticed that all the listings are gone. This is the only list where that has happened.

With all due respect, I rarely see the kind of maximums you are referring to, and I don't think I have ever seen a rule that says 15 is too many. In the Link-O-Rama rules, it says a minimum of five for non-partners, but there is no specific maximum limit stated.

But I do believe they want all the recip to other link lists on the index page. So no 15 is not too high a number just your placement seems a bit strange to me.

The reason stated is 404s, so it probably does stem from the time that you lost those pages. You really should take a moment to appeal.

abatis 2009-01-31 11:45 AM

im just curious on this but if a domain was lost and the content was lost and the links where all lost....would it maybe be a better idea to get a new name and start over so you don't have to deal with this everywhere you try to get links?

Until now, I didn't even know that the domain was blacklisted. With the exception of GG and PB and a few others, I have had no problems getting listed anywhere. But unless I can get off the list, you are probably right.

I have heard it can be nearly impossible to win an appeal. If a LL operators wants to punish me for a bit of bad fortune, so be it. I am an honest webmaster and NEVER CHEAT. Their loss.

I remember seeing the appeal, but the date we/I blacklisted you was before last rummer (I think it was 2004 or 2005) I have a tendency to just delete any appeal that has an inaccurate time frame.

But you seem legit, so I'll remove it today - sorry for the hassle.

Greenguy 2009-02-01 10:20 AM

I might have to take that statement back - I have you in here 3 times for 3 different reasons:

rblight@38dds.com
Reason: redirecting after listing

rblight@38dds.com
Reason: Templates

38dds.com edit
Reason: 404

1 would be ok. 2 is iffy. 3 really does concern me, seeing as the 1st one is "inactive" meaning that we took you off the list once before.
