My dog Grendal says Hello!

PR_Tom 2005-03-09 01:19 PM

Holy moly, I hope that dog is not a puppy still! His feet are almost as big as yours!

Oddly enough, he's on a diet too :D

PR_Tom 2005-03-09 01:32 PM

We need purina to make Webmaster Chow. I'd be all over that. Plus, who couldnt use a glossier coat?? Nobody, thats who.

;)

RawAlex 2005-03-09 01:39 PM

Heh-heh... I didn't have time to do the picture thing this morning, but I weighed myself before and I suspect the number is similar to yesterday... plus nobody has paid to sponsor my toes yet, I feel very stressed! :-)

Seriously, new pic in the morning!

If I hadn't read the post about the treadmill, I would be wondering what you guys were up to Jim. lol

Cool treadmill though - still working on getting my knee back into shape after a torn miniscus, someone just suggested I try a treadmill today. That would definitely be a nice one!

Congrats you guys on your hard work... just reading through the thread - can't wait to see all the pics and how this all came out! |bow|

So I'd been eating a lot of soup the last few weeks. Usually 1 can (2 servings) a day, sometimes 2 cans. At 90-150 calories a serving, a can fills you up & is not that bad towards my per day calorie goal.

Last night TheBitch had a nutritionist come over & go over what we've been eating & what we should be eating & whatnot. Seems that I really need to read the rest of the label instead of just the calorie part. Each serving of soup has 30-35% of the RDA of sodium. So, on those days I had 2 cans, the soup alone was giving me up to 140% of the sodium I need.

So that "holding water" theory might have contributed to the problem.

No soup yesterday & I like what I see :D

PR_Tom 2005-03-10 03:55 PM

Oh hell yeah man, canned soup is salt with flavoring and edible solids added :)
It tastes great and addicting, but it truly is mostly salt water..
They do have some "low" sodium ones, but even those are way high.

Congrats |greenguy| :)

Ohhh - I was bad today - Mom & Gran came over for dinner & I ate a big plate of food - I can tell I haven't been eating a lot lately because my stomach feels like it's gonna burst.

No more food for me today :(

RawAlex 2005-03-11 01:11 PM

Greenguy, it's the funniest feeling... I had one of those last night, got dragged out for dinner with friends, they fed me until I rolled..

187... +1 from yesterday.

Canned soup is deadly... if you want real soup, make it yourself, low sodium. As soon as you cut sodium, you will drop a pound or two overnight just losing water weight... It's insane how much salt can do to you.

GG, it reallly is a bit of a cycle... you can eat too much today, and it will all melt off tomorrow. Extra water, clean out the system, and recheck the weight. It is never very fair to check when you have just finished eating... I checked when I came home from dinner and the number wasn't pretty...

Skinny Sunday? ;)

Alex

digifan 2005-03-11 09:06 PM

Hmm.. I have an idea for you oh Great Green One..

you should measure yourself every other day only maybe :)
