I respect your opinion, but I hardly consider not showing my private info to the world is nonsense. If it is truly needed, a simple subpeona can get the organization my info. I list my contact info on my development website and my paying customers get my cell phone number. However, my porn site visitors and link trade partners needing my home contact info is just people being nosey. There is no reason why any of you would need to call me or mail me a letter:)

Wow, you are very much on edge, Sir. That was intended for all who think it is safe to post their home info online, especially having children.

Not that this is any of my business, but you aren't going to find many people who want to deal with you in this day and age unless they can check up on you and have faith you are not a scammer, especially as you advance further and start offering things people have to pay for. There are too many shady things that go on on the web and you're the one asking for other people's business don't forget.

On top of that, social media networks have pretty much made any sense of privacy a thing of the past the second you move one step up from becoming a lurker. There's always a risk but and you should use safeguards but the risk is probably the same as using your credit card to pay your bills as long as you check out the sites you are dealing with from your end. People can really only get so much info from who is and it's the info you should want them to have if you are legit.

To cover your home address use a P.O Box or mailing service which you should be doing anyway for any type of business. I should have probably minded my own business but thought I'd help you out cause someone did me about this when I first started. I'm paying it forward |headbang|

Couldn't you just use the address of someone you don't like...you ex, your boss, etc..?

The problem is the private whois.

I don't have private whois. I specifically rejected it when I signed up with my host.

Rob04 - there's a lot of things wrong with the site :( You've got the recips on the main page, there's only 3 other recips other than mine, the pics open on html pages & the pics are vid caps.

You might want to re-read the rules - http://www.link-o-rama.com/greenguy/therules.htm - and then decide if you want to make changes or just build another site that fits the rules :)

There is a site structure that goes: warning page - main page - and two gallery pages. The free sites listed are of this site structure.
