Hi I am new to the board. I am just getting back into the "biz" and wanted to submit my new free site to GG and Scorpio Links. I submitted to GG, and await a response/listing. BUt Scorpio Links requires 5 URL samples to join/submit. Do I have to build 5 sites or is there somewhere I can submit this one site..?

That's only if you want a partner account. No need for any sample sites if you submit as a regular submitter.

If you are submitting sites with movies, Site Type is FreeMovies.

Well ok then....I did submit to scorpiolinks to be a reg submitter - but my URL list was pretty lame. Hope I am accepted, or at least my site is.

I tried there.....it is asking for a password

got past the password thing and now it says "cannot access my URL"
my page is fastloading......geesh

I have now changed the text underneath the password field from:

"If you have an account."
to
"Only needed if you have an account."

That should make it more clear :)

Well I did receive an email from Scorpio links "Your submit account application for Scorpio Links has been rejected."
Now when I try to submit the one site, it keeps saying cannot access URL

I feel so rejected.......is there something wrong with this site?

The sites you had sent to me in the partner account application had broken images and they were not free sites. That's why I rejected the partner account application.

Regarding the "Can not access URL". It works now. My host had "fixed something" yesterday |club|

And I knew the links I listed were lame....time to start building again!

I have now switched over to partner submits only.
I might open up some categories later for non-partner submits, but not as it looks right now.
The non-partner submits that are still in the review que will be taken care of ASAP.

It was a combination of:
.cz email domain but the submit comes from US and you have a hidden whois.

well, I always have had a .cz email domain .... you approved it when I applied for a submitter account and I do use it ever since I am in the online biz (why is it a problem, now? the internet is international and CZ is part of the European Union) I am not submitting from the US ... I just use AOL for access that always shows up as US ... even if I access the internet from Europe or another continent.

Most webmasters that promote Asian sites NEED to have a private registration to protect themselves. There is no freedom of speech in Asian countries and porn is illegal, so one could face serious trouble when travelling over there ...

I do travel a lot and my submission could come from 3 different countries in just a few days. That's one of the advantages of internet work, that one does not need to have a home! Why would that be a problem? Why should travelling keep me from submitting good free sites?

Swedguy, I am sorry if I sound upset, but to issue a reject because of a .cz email is discriminating and does hurt my national pride. I know Czechs lost in the World Cup, but hey .... just to be Czech or have a Czech email add is nothing bad! You should also understand the need of webmasters for protection from undemocratic legislations in Asia.
