What autosubmitter would you suggest ?

Hi, I'd like to try submitting my galleries with autosubmitter, I know that In the TGP world its very helpful tool. I just feel bad when Im done with the gallery after hand-submitting to 20-30 bigger TGPs while I can autosubmit that gallery to 200-300 more.

What submitter would you guys/gals suggest ?

- Chameleon Submitter
- Russian Submitter
-Dream Submitter
- Advanced Submitter

or ?

I'd like to hear your opinions.

Hmm too bad this thread was moved , because I was rather looking for people's honest opinions, experiences with autosubmitters than beeing spammed.

@alvarez, thanks for the info.

For now I know I can get the Russian Submitter off the list.

grezpa,

We can fix that...:)

I use Advanced Submitter, but I just go it and have only used on three galleries and not in auto mode. I'm a bit of a pussy when it comes to autosubmitting. I just can't do it. Their database could be better. The weights it comes set with for ranking TGPs are all wrong so it groups the wrong recips together. You need to go in and set them as you go. I've never tried any of the others so I can't give you the real scoop. I know that damn near everyone who submits to me uses Chameleon and it seems to be working out on my end just fine.

grzepa 2004-12-28 06:30 AM

@DD : thanks !

@Useless Warrior: Thanks for the comment, so you say that chameleon is very popular ?

It appears to be popular from my end. I've seen a bunch of names from this board in my submission qeue all at once when I asked Chameleon to add my TGP to their database. So I have to assume that's how they found my sub page.

I think more people would reply to this thread, but there is such a big stigmatism attached to auto submitters that no one wants to fess up. I'd never use one for free sites because most link lists forbid it and I don't submit to enough link lists anyway. I just keep them in my bookmarks. But for TGPing, you almost have to use a submitter of some sort, even if only to organize the places you plan on submitting to.

Hmm yes, but like you said, in TGP world its , if not a must , at least something very useful. Hey, I remember in one thread Cleo admitted she's using autosubmitter for smaller TGPs. Dont be afraid people ;-)

selena 2004-12-28 06:17 PM

For TGP, I use GASS along with RoboForm, and it seems to work just fine. GASS isn't an auto submitter though. It's more a duplicator and organizer, with RoboForm used to fill in the blanks. It came with a submit list, but I built a custom list before I started using it.

Imho, blacklists are something I want to avoid, so I personally won't try an autosubmitter. I know there are hundreds and hundreds of sites I could submit to by using one, but it seems to me that most my sales come from a handful of places anyhow. So I've come up with a compromise somewhere between totally doing everything by hand, and using an autosubmitter.

GeorgeTH 2004-12-28 11:02 PM

I'm another Roboform user, but I must confess I've been tempted many times by the Chameleon submitter, as I know some of my regular submitters are using it. The only other one I hear/see mentioned, by people I trust I should add, is Advanced Submitter.

And only yesterday I went through my stats parallel to a new submission, and I found some 20 sites I should weed out because their traffic isn't worth the effort of hand-submissions - that's where I would use an autosubmitter...

Who says that, when/if I start using one, I can't continue hand-submissions to all the sites I care about? Sounds to me like all I have to do is remove them from the software's db.

I'm using an older free version of Roboform with about 8 custom fields, which by now is reaching it's limits, since there are more-and-more obscure scripts around not using standard field names, so you have to have like 5 different entries for the gallery url to cover the majority... The newer free Roboform versions are totally useless with only 3 (or so) custom fields.

gass 20

i use gass 2.0 also. ive used russian submitter before but wasnt at all happy with the results. of course gass isnt an autosubmitter but once you get the hang of it you can submit to a pretty decent amount of tgp's in a short amount of time.

i also did what george did. i stopped submitting to the tgp's that didnt send much traffic and replaced them with new tgp's. and if the new ones dont send much traffic ill replace them. im actually getting about twice as much traffic to my galleries as i was getting when submitting with russian submitter now.

thats not saying that some small tgp's dont get good quality se traffic. i have a few of them on my list that i found from searching through se's that will stay on the list even though they dont send many surfers ;)

anyways, to sum it all up, if you dont feel the need to submit to 1000 plus tgp's in minutes you can submit to a select group by hand and get just as much or more traffic as with an auto submitter.

grzepa 2004-12-29 05:55 AM

Thanks for all your input people ! Keep it coming !!
For now Im thinking about trying a trial of dreamsubmitter which is $2.95 for the first month and also about that GASS thing. Im allready using roboform :)

I can't say much about GASS... About 2 (or maybe even 3 years ago) I downloaded a trial of GASS, and the installation crashed my computer - the more I tried the worse it got, finally had to go back to restore point (and lost a fair bit). When I posted this on "the other board" Darksoft got all pissed with me and ever since we're on bad terms...

I hear good things about it but can't confirm either way...

Good thread, been considering one myself. My only desires besides it working (of course), is that it's a ONE TIME fee to BUY the program (dont want a rental ;) ).. and perhaps a database update available for a modest fee.
Else I'm happy doing it by hand, even if it's several hundred tgp's.

grzepa 2005-01-05 06:26 PM

@GeorgeTH: sad to hear such stories :(

@pumpkin: thanks, nice proggie I think its perfect for me because Im not that heavy TGP submitter and the program has pay per post option.

plateman 2005-01-05 06:41 PM

hey grzepa what did you end up with I am ready to buy one and want your input - thanks

Let us know how it's working for you! Since we anyhow missed the special already...

pumpkin_head 2005-01-06 03:53 AM

Well MIGHTY submitter is the best for me. I tried a lot of them and this one is the most intuitive and it supports a lot of graphic codes, even The Hun :-)

Mighty is the best for me...

Support is great, I can reach support everyday and when you ask to do something, you'll find it in the next release.

You can download evaluation right now and you get 10 posts for free with full base... Go and try... I'm building my LL base from another submitter to this one since I have full year I don't want to pay for something else.

Now - how much of that is |spam|?
Since the post has twice your referrer code in it?
And a 'mighty' 3 of your total 6 posts is spamming this thread...

pumpkin_head 2005-01-06 07:11 AM

well

why spam?
isn't it the thread discussing submitters?
don't you asked me more about it? and now yelling about spam?

if you don't want, don't use it.
i'm not too active writing at this forum...
i referred good sofware and if you don't want to use ref link, crop it. but that doesn't make any sense to me.

I'm submitting with this submitter right now, you may think whatever you want.

grzepa 2005-01-06 12:02 PM

guys , chill out ! pumpink_head: your post looked kinda spammy, but the software you reffered looks real good , and I joined under your code.

@plateman: I was 90% declared to buy GASS, but as I found out
they accept only payments via Paypal, and Paypal dont accept people from Poland so I had to take a break, but that mighty submitter thingie looks real good, and once you join for free you have 10 free submits with the full version of the software so I'd say give it a try

pumpkin_head 2005-01-06 01:11 PM

guys, excuse me please.
that was my first experience of posting something with ref link, just because i'm sure in the product that offered. and i was considered as spammer, i'm not, i swear :-)

excuse me again for offtopic

grzepa 2005-01-06 01:32 PM

@pumkin_head: no problem :) Im setting the program right now, do they have their own recip file, or you have to download the recips by yourself ?

*EDIT* I just found them on their homepage.
