I have to admit, I am glad it's raining today. If I have to work another day in the dirt, I think I may go crazy. But, that means it's time to run all the electric today, the cable and start the insulation.

Started raining here late afternoon yesterday and is still raining. I'm lucky that I got my wood pile completely moved right before it started.

I should be around much of the day watching it rain since I'm much too sore to do much of anything else.

horrible sunday for me made spaghetti and the suace was in a plastic jar and turns out something artficial in the suace made me sick all night |dizzy|

it was strange that the weather channel played military funeral trumpet music while the forcast was listing rain all week for a second i thought the trumpets were playing for me.

Its nice and sunny around here! :D

Guess I spoke too soon, the sun has come out and it looks like it is going to be a beautiful day here. :)

Talk about wood piles would be useless without at least one pic of the wood. :D

Played a lot of poker last night & didn't fare as well as Yell, but I made back the money The Bitch lost :D

I'm moving a little slower than normal today & for some reason this couch in my office keeps whispering my name...... |zzzzzzzzz

It's my biggest wood pile yet so I'll only know for sure tomorrow after bulk trash pickup. I have put bigger piles, multiple piles that were so big you couldn't see my house except for my driveway, but they were all tree and yard trimmings.

It does say no construction debris but they did pickup my last two months of deck boards so I'm hoping that they do this one too.

The crew that goes around the neighborhoods is a huge truck with a trailer that holds everything. This big machine that looks like a bulldoze with rubber wheels but instead of a plow thing in front there are this big claws that picks up the stuff and puts it in the trucks' trailer. There is also a few guys with leaf blowers, shovels, and brooms going behind the claw truck thing.

Monthly bulk trash pickup is one the perks for living inside of Fort Lauderdale's city limits. I guess we pay more on taxes or something for this. I know that my friends that live in nearby cities don't get this service.

Looks like I win the prize for the biggest pile once again this month. :D

Went to dinner with friends last night as we had planned. It was much more pleasurable than I thought it would be. Ended up at a dance club, not by my choice, because the wife's friend wanted to 'get her swirve on'. MML would have enjoyed himself. It was a BBW fest or something. I was getting worried about whether or not the structure could bare the load until I remembered that the club was in the basement anyway.

We do have a monthly pick as well but we can only put out up to a hundred pounds at a time. |cry|

There is a limit here too but everyone ignores it. I see piles of old wooden fencing left curbside all the time but I've never seen anyone leave this much decking out. A friend of mine left an old small car curbside and they took that, it was a very tiny car.

Hopefully I don't end up fined and having to pay someone to take it away.

Like UW, I went to a club last night as well. It was a good time. Lots of everything. Got completely hammered. woke up this morning and felt like I was at an ACDC concert. Then I realized that the alarm clock was set to 'radio' and it was ACDC.

What time does the party start? :D

Driving around buying crap, like gas cans and a floor fan, and I end up in a traffic jam from hell on Federal Hwy less then a mile from my house.

Turns out the traffic jam is because the cops have turned the lights red in both directions so that they can walk past all the cars looking in the windows, checking plates, if we are wearing seat belts and whatever else.

Cop comes knocking on my window, asks for my license, registration, and proof of insurance and tells me to pull into the parking lot. I'm thinking he wants to know why my passenger seat is full of five gallon gas cans or something, they were empty as I had just bought them.

Turns out I had forgotten to renew my license plate. Wow you would have thought that I had just robbed a bank or something. He went on how it is a criminal offense since it was over 6 months overdue and went on how he could arrest me and impound my car and how lucky I am that he is going to be nice to me and only write me a ticket. Going over to the tag place first thing in the morning to take care of my plate since the website seems to be broken and now I'm going to have to sit in court for hours to show the judge that I have renewed my plate.

I was as nice, polite, and respectful as I could be knowing from past experience that it is the best thing to do. I signed the ticket and he looked at my signature and then starts going on that he didn't think I could sign my name like that two times in a row. I guess he didn't like the way I scribble my signature. So I pointed out that it was the same way that was on my drivers license at which time he went through the whole speech how it is a criminal offense since it is over six months and he could tow my car, blah, blah…
