Trying freesites on a free host
 

Hi,
I have done some testing with TGP on a free host. I have about 15-20 klicks a day on the banner I'm affiliating. I don't know how much I need to get my first $. But it would be very interesting to know.

I'm using a free host and I like it. I don't have to worry about paying $ or getting messages about problem with your credit card. Of course I have to work harder on adding links but it works.

Thinking of creating my own link list with rules that I only accept galleries from free hosts :)

About freesite wich I don't know much about more than that I need a enter page, index page and 2 galleries, how much traffic would I gain changing to a free site from a TGP?

I'm thinking of using content from nastydollars to fill upp 2 galleries and I'm also thinking of using the same approach as in TGP that i have multiple pages with 3 buttons each.

I have som problem thinking how to structure this when I advertise links in various sites. I would need multiple enter pages. Simplest would be to put buttons there but I don't know if webmaster like that.
If they want to have their button on the main page then I need multiple enterpages and multiple indexpages linking to each other.

You see I have problem thinking and I would appreciate your help on this. :)

Here's a simple piece of advice to get you started Nightsurf. Go to some of the link sites you're thinking of submitting to and surf the listings. Get a feel for how free sites are laid out and read the rules at the link sites. That simple exercise may help you to compose your questions a bit more clearly so we can help :)

One word of caution here, never ever copy someone else's work. I mean no offense by this statement, but given history...it's necessary to say this to someone new to the business.

One thing I can tell you for sure...free hosting will not fly with link sites. It's been far too abused and I seriously doubt you'll find any link sites willing to list free hosted sites.

That would depend where you are getting traffic from and what they are looking for. I see a lot of webmasters posting about ratios in excess of 1:1,000 which I personally find unacceptable.

1:1000 is a couple of month :D

Free sites or TGP.

Lets say I want to submit my TGP and my free site to 100 sites. The sites where found via google with keywords like:
"submit site" "hairy amateurs"

All I know is that they are mixed and some of them would accept either TGP, free site, both or none.

Given these options what would you do?

Perhaps someone who understands what you are asking can help you. What you are saying makes absolutely no sense to me |huh

Maybe it's better to test this and see what happends.
Maybe free sites would be listed more easy than TGP.

You submit galleries to TGPs and freesites to Linklists. Only a few lists I know (like tommys-bookmarks.com) will accept both galleries and freesites. So it's not ok to submit your galleries to most Linklists and it's not ok to submit freesites to TGPs.

A TGP is a site that lists galleries (a single page with pics or movies).
A Link List is a site that lists Freesites (a mini site consisting of index, main and 2 galleries).
A few sites list both, but they are far between.

Thus: A gallery would make a TGP owner happy (provided it's any good) and a freesite would make a LL owner happy (if it's good).

At 15-20 clicks to sponsor you'll have to wait a while for your first sale (quite a while).

Take MrYum's advice and do your resarch and stay away from free hosts.

first of all get some good sponsors. Some sponsors will give you free hosting to promote their sites... you can use this free hosting for galleries and free sites... (most sponsors will also provide free hosted galleries (FHGs)).
