Merry Christmas to all of you.
I just had to come on today to say good morning and Merry Christmas. I'll probably get yelled at if I get found out by my lovely sleeping wife :)

Our Christmas get together was last night and for the first year, we really aren't doing anything today. It's just been such a long season for us that today is the payoff :)

Anyway, the vacation so far has been great and I know I say this each year but, I suggest you do the same. At least if you celebrate Christmas, take a couple of days for your family.

I am thinking I will be back on and off this week. With nothing to do, I can't see myself just sitting around. Of course, my Grandchildren will be here all week so who knows? I might just spend the next week playing with their and my own new toys :)

Bills lost yesterday :( I was screaming at them when they went up by 5 & didn't go for the 2 point conversion. Came back to haunt us as we lost by 1 & are officially out of the playoffs. Oh well.

Had the kids over last night & did the gift thing - stayed up til 2 & I have no idea why I'm awake now (but I'll be asking Yell why he called at 8:30 when I see him)

Lots going on today. The family & the MaryLou's will be here for 5:00 dinner.

A friend of mine is having his annual "orphans' dinner" this afternoon, so I'll be dropping by there later to see who turns up this year. I know his wife's father is in from England so I'm hoping that should help make for some spirited discussions.

Working the strip store from 10-2 then the Rug-Dawg and I are off to see Night of the Museum at the IMAX at the Palms then dinner at Little Buddha. Yummy.. Dim Sum. |roses|

kids couldn't sleep last nite so we were up till 4 am, then they woke us up at 7:30 so a nap is definitely in order. Although with a new drum kit for one kid and a guitar for the other I don't know how much sleep we'll end up with :) I think we've got ourselves some budding rock stars here |band

I got an XBox 360 and 3 games, as well as season 2 and 3 of SCRUBS and a laser pointer to torment the cats. I now have so much to do and no idea where to start.

GG, sounds like a good game, I was stuck with boring games all day, which I am thinking I am going to get the NFL network next year since I’m tired of watching games that do not mean shit.

Had a few friends over for an impromptu dinner then went out to Voodoo and didn't get in until almost 4am. Drank enough that I should be hung over but oddly I'm not although I do feel very bloated.

No plans today other then to relax and probably piss a lot.

Our day is packed from start to finish with abso-fucking-lutely nothing. A mighty fine Christmas present if you ask me. |bananna|

Good Morning.

Bills were not on the CBS Buffalo station yesterday even though the guide said it was suppose to be. They had crappy tv shows on. So I had to watch a few games that were good in the first half but were blowouts in the second.

The Bills should have gone for 2 pts for sure! Then it would have gone to OT and not covering the 2.5 pt spread cost me $100 on proline. :(

Yeah Browns are in bad shape, and I am not sure Troy Smith is the answer. Since I've been here in FL I get all the Bucs games, most of Miami’s games and a few Jax games, (unless one the these teams play the Colts, then we get the NY Giants, makes sense huh? |huh ) and for the most part, the games we do get to see are meaningless.|banghead|

How about the Saints? I’ve believing it could be a Chargers vs Saints in the Super Bowl… And I never once thought I’d ever say that in my lifetime.|crazy|

As much as I love Troy, and as great a story as it would be, we need so much more than a QB. Offensive lineman, defenisve lineman, corner (I pull for Gary Baxter, but 2 torn patellas....), running back... the list goes on.

Without addressing the line (we even lost our best tackle to "a mental disorder") it wouldn't be fair to throw yet another QB to the dogs like Couch and Frye. Besides... Frye has at least 2 more good years as a tackling dummy.
