up at 5:15 today to take hubby into work so I can have the car for a dr's appt oh what fun, I think a nap is definitely on the agenda :)

inspired by MML & OTB, I'm trying something a bit different with my next freesite, hopefully it works & I don't get a bunch of reject emails :D

Heading to the beach shortly to visit my feathered friends for breakfast and a sunrise buzz to start out a great week.
Lots of running to do all week as the Mississippi Gulf Coast draws one step closer to recovery from Katrina. The first 2 lanes of the Biloxi Bay bridge open Thursday, joining the entire coast back together for the first time since Aug 29, 2005. I guess I better get my patootie in overdrive and working on my mainstream projects as plenty of food, drink and festivities are in order through the rest of the year.

It just doesn't get much better.. the Saints are back on track, the coast is back on track, money and health are back on track. Goddamn it's good to be alive and kicking!

Up way too early again.

Was a friend's birthday last night so for her birthday we met up at some smoke filled dive dyke bar and played pool late into the night. My sinuses feel like I've snorted acid and despite taking a shower and washing our hair before going to bed the sheets smell like cigarette smoke.

Loving Leopard, wow is it a lot faster, but it looks like I need to pickup a much lager drive for Time Machine. Found this 750 gig drive that I'm thinking of putting in one of the firewire cases that I have laying around.

If I can get rid of this sinus headache going to do the gym today and then just a day of work planned.

I had a techno melt down yesterday..
In order to post pone more $$ going into GawdGate's pocket, I went with Cleo suggestion of using OpenOffice until I can decide what to do. It's working beautifully and I'd planned on backing up my dbase onto my jump drive, then trying their dBase program with my current one.

Couldn't find my Jump drive. Ok No biggie.. i have a second one that will be back in my possession by tuesday.

Decided to do some pre-payroll work since now that we are using a service all time cards/sheets must be in by tuesdays at 7am.

Except the Calc program doesn't do text-to-columns. Ok No biggie.. I have excel on my laptop .. can use my little jump drive .. 256mgs .. and transfer them to excel.. text2column and then back.

Went to boot up my laptop...which worked beautifully while we were in San Diego last week. Nothing. tried again.. Nothing.. tried again.. got a "Fan Error" WTF.

So i had to email the sheets to Tart who texted-2-columns for me.. and then back again..

I really would like a day to come when our PC, laptop, Xbox360, XM, and all the other electronics I have would work how they are supposed to on 1 fucking day..

Now that I've bored you to death.. |waves| have a good one.

Having all the kids over yesterday was nice. One even had somebody come over and buy his motorcycle that has been sitting in my garage since he moved out. Guess its probably time to sell mine as well.

Afternoon all. I'm in a haze from this weekend. I'm slowly getting things done here. Was happy to see a bit of the chargers game that mattered before having to fly back. (the first 20 minutes of the game.) Second half chargers didn't do much. Later today I hope to make it to the gym and hopefully clear the cobwebs out with some exercise.
