We went & saw The Dark Night IMAX yesterday & it was fucking AWESOME! Even The Bitch enjoyed the movie. This was our 1st IMAX movie as well & that experience has ruined me for movies just like HDTV has ruined me for TV (yes, this is a recap of the LOR Daily Thoughts)

We then went to eat at Red Robin (nationwide chain?) and I had a mediocre burger. We got home & I got really sick & went to bed at 9. This is the 2nd time I've felt this sickness & I can only assume my meds are interacting with some food. I hope it's not popcorn :(

Other than that, today will be more planning for my big Aug 1st announcement.......

There is something dead and partially eaten on the floor of our empty den. I guess we don't need to give the cats treats this morning.

Coming back from the couch store yesterday I almost hit a shopping cart on the freeway yesterday at 70+ MPH that fell off the back of a pickup truck. I could see a bunch of other cars colliding with it in my rear view mirror.

BrandsMart will beat Amazon's price on TVs if you pull it up on your iPhone while there.

Our den is empty because we put our old couch, lamps, and a bunch of other stuff curbside for today's bulk trash pickup. Probably should have also put the old rear projection TV out too but we still haven't decided if if we are putting it in our bedroom and tossing the old huge CRT TV in there or tossing the old rear projection TV. I see that much of what we put out for bulk trash has already has been taken by the trash scavengers that cruise our streets so I guess it doesn't matter if we put out a TV after this month's bulk trash has already been picked up.

New TV and couch is coming tomorrow. I need to call DirecTV today and get them out here to upgrade us to HD. I hate their non Tivo HD DVRs. Makes me want to switch back to Cable but I hate Comcast cable too, it's a real quagmire.

Doing the gym thing in a bit on this rainy morning and then just a day of getting back to work after taking this weekend off.

Another week of no construction/demolition has started, so more porn slinging for me :)
We had a major thunderstorm here last night, kept me awake until 3 or so. Our town square looks really nice now with some fallen trees and a tent blown away.

Other than that I've got nothing :)

Another day where the weather here can't decide between bright sun and rain. Ducked out for an hour yesterday afternoon to get some sun on my glowing head, and should try that again later today in between the rain events. Aside from that it's just a good day to get some work done.

I did hear that Greenie's going shopping for a new 'HD IMAX for the Home' setup.

Got a good night sleep last night.|thumb Mostly because we spent the entire day outside in great weather (no rain, no humidity) eat and drank all day. Overall it was a good party and I am glad we went.
The drive through the mountains was spectacular.

Well a new week is upon us, so back to the grind.

The other day I was driving behind a guy that just bought a shed and had it all tied down to his pickup truck. I decided to change lanes and just as I did that a big gust of wind tossed his shed in the air and all over the street - right where I was driving! The people in the car with me had a few screams then silence for a few minutes.

Anyway. Have a great day!

Today's local TV news is showing a car that collided with a couch on the freeway. Couch and the car is looking to be totaled.

I had a really busy weekend, seems like the whole neighborhood is over here some times! Actually, I don't really mind that because I'd rather have them over here then out there causing trouble, but it does make for some hectic moments :)

Since it's Monday I'm back to my usual summer schedule - 20 minutes of work, 20 minutes of making food for the masses and putting out whatever fights crop up lol.

August 1st announcement? Hopefully I have internet to see what that is. ;)

Off to the airport in a few hours for the trek across the pond to Rome Italy. Gonna be gone for 2 weeks on a full tour of Italy with the wife and daughter but will hopefully be able to check in from time to time. Don't overwork yourselves too much.

Spent most of the weekend doing security upgrades to machines since Zend is ending php4 support on August 8th. While php4 is probably pretty secure at this point, it does mean that if someone finds a security exploit in php4, you're pretty much stuck not being able to prevent it.

Wordpress is down to a severe dislike today. Joomla has dropped down to strong dislike. :)

Getting ready to start our 3 week college tour, celebrate my older son's 30th birthday in the A-T-L and go to some wedding in upstate NY. If my new Sprint wireless thing can't find access as the train speeds across the country, I might be out of pocket for the next few days..so Make some $$ ..

Anyway..now i'll have to make sure I'm watching the board on August 1st.. Damn You |greenguy|

We're leaving for LA in about 2 hours and if all goes well at this time tomorrow we'll be somewhere in NM or Texas..i'm kind of winging it here not looking where the train actually goes.

Morning all. Getting ready to go out with my new bug blaster and spray everything outside. Take that you tiny little whatever you are that are eating my grape leaves! |angry| I sprayed in the greenhouse day before yesterday, and its really helping on the aphid problem. I wear my swimsuit, and go to town, lol.

After that, just more porn as usual.

I was driving on a divided freeway in Hawaii years ago, and watched a guy hit the center divider, his car rolled over in mid-air, flew over us, and land behind us on the freeway. I've never been that close to being squashed by a flying car. I swear, it was like watching a movie and having it fly in slo-mo.
