I woke really early this morning for no reason at all. I must have a few things on my mind :) My children are coming over today for but besides that, nothing but work.

Weather is warming up here. We are expecting to be out of the -'s and enjoy some rain.... but wait! There will be more snow after that, then back to the cold. UGH!

Nothing much else but work on the agenda.

Date night with the wife tonight. My little one is having a sleep over so I need to get a bunch of work done so we can go have an adult dinner.

Nowhere near the real winter elsewhere, but we've dipped down to the 40s a couple of times lately and that's damn cold in a place where houses don't have heat. It didn't get above mid-50s inside here yesterday and in the early morning when it was a lot colder I was wearing a wool hat, scarf and gloves while working. I mis-typed a bunch of things. This morning it's on 51º F again, with oven on with door open and pot of water on slow boil to put the moisture back that the oven's removing.

Wishing everyone a day of sunshine that brings more than just light your way ... unlike the fickle bitch in our sky, dazzling all the windows with its brightness while doing absolutely nothing at all to make me want to open those damn windows.

I'm dazed and confused, as well as tired. It's Friday, but I'm not certain that that means anything in our world. I keep hoping to get a call from the University telling me not to worry about all those silly prerequisite courses. I'm researching the CLEP tests as spookyx suggested. There are three being offered which fit my needs, so I may have to get the ball rolling on them. But I need to clear my head long enough to map out a schedule of how I'd complete the rest of the courses while also doing the primary coursework. Mostly, I'm wondering if there is something else I'd liked to do when I grow up that wouldn't require me to take 3.5 years of coursework in 2 years. I'm a path of least resistance kind of guy.

I'm told that it's supposed to hit a whopping 40 F here by Sunday. I'll believe it when the icicles outside my window begin their drippety-dripping. Otherwise, it's just another cruel lie meant to torment me.

Good morning. tgif. Yesterday was a success. That made up for being stuck in traffic for 4 hours a little easier to take. Downtown LA was absolute gridlock.

Got a bunch of stuff to take care of today. Time to get going.

After postponing the dreaded IRS for 87 days.. my day of doom is upon me on Monday. For some reason their phone says they are closed yet the hours posted are 7am-7pm EST. I'm well within that.. so I guess i'll have to be schleping to the local office. |angry|

today we are off to give Sammi's Woodfired pizza a 2nd chance and probably catch a movie..i'm thinking a chick flix..but the RDawg wants Coraline.
