Hey Gang,
Is Nasty Dollars still converting for anyone? Sales are way way down here. They are not converting well at all.
Have fun,
Dunkin

Can't complain.
at 10-14 cents a unique they arent my best but def. not my worst sponsor.

RawAlex 2004-09-08 08:10 PM

In answer to the question at hand, yes, nastydollars still converts, although I find they phase in and out at times. Net number isn't terrible, compared to the traffic I send them, and that is the important part for me.

Yes they still do decent for me though convertions are up and down at times.

fringe 2004-09-26 02:54 PM

Hi Dunkin... I'll give a different take on Nastydollars for this month...

Conversions are in the toilet... for the last six months I've had a solid conversion of ~1:200 for approx. 25-30 sales/month on AVS traffic.

For the last two weeks... 1 sale on 2000 clicks... same avs traffic - that's never happened to me before - not even close.

And before everyone starts saying it's just part of the business to go up and down, I agree, but this difference is sooo far outside the curve statistically that I seriously think ND started doing something different (i.e. scrubbing the hell out of signups).

Does anyone else have a similar experience lately? ND did announce on Sept. 6 that they were having billing problems and sales were off, but it seems a lot worse than they are making it out to be.

Boogie 2004-09-26 05:32 PM

I convert there consistantly between 1:300 to 1:600. I did have one month where it clocked in at like 1:1200 though. I think that's just raw bad luck.

This month I'm looking at 1:500 from link list traffic and hosted gallery traffic.

But I can honestly say they have some of the best hosted galleries in the industry and if you're using it right? that traffic is leaving your site anyways ;)

jennym 2004-09-26 06:14 PM

September 1:480
August 1:509
July 1:540

Seems fine to me. Same as Boogie, LL and hosted gallery traffic mostly.

andrej_NDC 2004-09-26 07:28 PM

why when people have 1:500 with ND or any other sponsor who counts 2nd page clicks, they think they have a good ratio and complain about 1:2000 with ccbill? Its the SAME! Its the SAME! Its the SAME! Its the SAME! Its the SAME! Its the SAME! Its the SAME! Its the SAME! Its the SAME! Its the SAME! Its the SAME!

Bottom line is, I have certain spots to advertise with. I try different sponsors. The one that sends me the biggest check stays there. Period. It's more money - It's more money - It's more money. I only used those numbers to show that ND has been very consistent for me, and I have not seen the decline that was being asked about.

As for ccbill. I had a sponsor that used them, then the sponsor switched to it's own billing. I did not change the spot of that sponsor, only the links. My signups tripled (at least).l

Boogie 2004-09-26 10:05 PM

I'm also fairly sure that nastydollars counts front page clicks?

I doubt very seriously I'm sending them more traffic than they're counting, cause they're counting quite a lot.

:)

LOL.. you were just yelling at DangerDave in another thread about him being wrong when he wasn't too!!

Jennym wasn't comparing ND ratios to any other programs conversion figures. And I would dispute what you say anyway, as I doubt CCbill usually approve as many transactions as someone managing their own merchant account!

How do you know he wasnt? I think paysite owners(not only me, Im talking about it with many others) knows the most about their own sales, refunds and chargebacks.

no, but he told 1:500 is good, but it actually isnt. :) 1:500 on join page uniques with a sponsor who has cheap trials is bad.

only thing what matters is the quality of the content and marketing, not if you can accept 10% of transactions more or less. I wouldnt use a cascading billing sponsor with his own merchant account, just because I would get 10-15% more sales. I will use a sponsor with a good site, where I can get 100-300% more sales.

Corleone 2004-09-27 11:59 AM

1:900 for all sites together

1:3500 this period... but it happens, I've seen numbers of this magnitude before and they come back... last period was 1:450 and I have faith that next period will be closer to that mark. But when all is said and done - this period can't end soon enough!

xxxjay 2004-09-27 03:20 PM

I did 80 SU at 1:454 this period. I agree that Nasty Dollars may be a little burnt out, but that's only because it's a great program. If you are looking for a good alternative to ND - you should try the new http://www.new.occash.com stuff - OCCash is still in beta, so our sites haven't been burned out.

Here is a peek at a new one that is coming this week:

This happens to sponsors all the time. Nothing new. ND has always notified it's affiliates when a problem occurs, and I have always been happy with the credits given for "problem times".

Pudes 2004-09-30 01:13 AM

0:2232 i killed there galleries from my TGP till i here any changes

fringe 2004-09-30 06:30 AM

Their billing problems had to have been pretty bad.

They made another announcement yesterday and credited a bunch of sales to my account last night which, as always, reflects really well on them.

Were they part of this ddos attack that's been happening to Paycom?

Who processes for Nastydollars?

bret 2004-10-15 09:54 PM

you people worry WAY to much about ratios. add up the $$ at the end of the day, and that is your best sponsor. i dont care if ND is 1:10,000 and every ccbill sponsor i have is 1:1, at the end of the day whoever sends me the biggest check is who i promote.
