Not much on tap for me in the online work place today, but I do have to get ready for my Fantasy Hockey League draft (which is at 9 AM tomorrow for some silly reason) and I have to figure out who my picks up are for my other Fantasy Football League, as my team is hurting from injuries & bye weeks - I have no QB for next week - LOL

But I'll be in here most of the day :)

New roof will be started on the 30th. Kind of sucks that this is after this latest hurricane, then again maybe not.

DirecTV is coming tomorrow to put in a Tivo in my living room. I put the TV that was in my bedroom there and it was cheaper and easier to order a Tivo, $50 after rebate, then it was to have another receiver setup there. Now if I only start actually watching TV I might have use for all these TVs.

Urb is right, that would be a great coffee table.

TiVO is absolutely awesome. My wife thought it was just another one of my toys, but now she likes it more than I do :)

Easy to record, flip through commercials, etc etc. Now all I need is a nice affordable plasma TV and I will be all set :)

I watch very little TV.

They have brought back one of my all time favorite shows FarScape and this was about the only reason that I got it.

Wait until TiVo comes out with a HD box, otherwise it's useless with a plasma :(

My rich neighbor has some kind of Tivo like device that does HD. I'm going over later to feed his cats and shovel their shit and I'll try to remember to take a look at who makes them.

Yeah I can always take my existing tivo and put it in the bedroom, but then I would have to sell my 60" big screen. I think i might have to make my bedroom bigger now so I can fit the 60" tv in there. See how this stuff just escalates? :)

We will be getting the Purdue/Illinois football game on PPV tomorrow. I'm so looking forward to it since the first Purdue game which was nationally televised wasn't on here since the news was 24/7 on every channel talking about Frances and then of course we lost power that day so it didn’t really matter.

All I know is the forth season ended with the two main characters getting blown up and the show getting cancelled and all the sets were distorted. It was replaced with Tremors The Series which I never watched, hillbilly scifi in IMO, and it too was cancelled.

The only two shows that I ever liked on SciFi was Babylon5 who's story ended properly despite them also trying to cancel it and FarScape.

I watch very little TV. Science channel mostly with CNN or some news in the background while I'm working sometimes but mostly I listen to music. I do love SciFi but it is so hard to find decent SciFi. I hate the reality shows and can't watch them as they just bore the hell out of me. I remember when I was in the hospital and the nurses keep on putting on soaps and I keep on changing it back to Lost In Space and Star Trek. lol

I watch a few things on SciFi Stargate Atlantis and such but mostly watch their reruns of Outerlimits...Some of their movies are also good. They premiered Dark Light last Saturday...

But mostly they have lame shit on.

AcidMax - I have my TiVo hooked up to my plasma & when I want to watch HD, I just switch to the HD input - it's sort of a pain in the ass, but the alrernative is the cable company's HD DVR which sucks ass compared to TiVo. I have a feeling TiVo is already working on a HD box :D

digifan - I think we were down for 2 min - NatNet caught it before I even sent in the work order :D

I actually lost 3 trees. The really big one was a ficus. Next to it was a Black Olive and in my front yard is a Chaparral tree.

The leaves that you see it is a Philodendron plant. I have a few varieties of these that grow all through my backyard. All of them were clippings from house plants.

I do have a very old large Mango tree in my backyard that is just fine.

And RB's are a very premium commodity in this league - with 12 teams & having to start 2 RB's each week, the go pretty fucking quick. I was #10 overall & the 1st 9 picks were RB's |banghead| So I took Culpepper & then in the 2nd round, took Davis (who's out as you know)

I also have Eddie George, Antowain Smith & Emmit Smith - and I really fucking hate all 3 of them :D
