Brad Pitt

So I am in the middle of watching Meet Joe Black for about the 100th time and I wonder...what is your favorite Brad Pitt movie? Of course everyone loves Brad Pitt. Makes me feel a little verklempt just thinking about it :)

Greenie knows what I am talking about... :)

Surfn 2004-10-09 05:52 PM

Sorry, I don't have one. |sad|

MadMax 2004-10-09 05:55 PM

Heat - one of the best cops & robbers movies of all time.

Jim 2004-10-09 05:59 PM

Surfn
How do you not have a favorite Brad Pitt movie?

Surfn 2004-10-09 06:02 PM

I never liked him so I never watched his movies. Same thing for Robert Redford.

MrMaryLou 2004-10-09 06:05 PM

Interview with the Vampire for me :)

huh?

Torn Rose 2004-10-09 06:10 PM

Jim why am I not surprised you would start a thread on Brad Pitt?|jester|

"Seven" is mine....

SirMoby 2004-10-09 06:17 PM

I think Snatch would be my favorite. Ocean Eleven is a close 2nd but I prefer his character in Snatch so I'm going with that.

Jim 2004-10-09 06:25 PM

Snatch is a good one :)
There is no finer actor than Mr Brad Pitt. Maybe Robert Dinero but, I'm not sure.

"Heat", starring Brad Pitt, Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino, and a ton of other awesome actors. 3 hours long and I'd buy an extended director's cut if there was one available. Like I said, simply one of the best cops & robbers movies of all time.

docholly 2004-10-09 06:37 PM

ditto on "Seven"

"Heat" is a great movie... but I think you're getting Brand Pitt and Val Kilmer mixed up. :D

Cleo 2004-10-09 09:14 PM

I liked Interview with a Vampire. I thought that Tom Cruse was hot. I guess Brad Pitt must have been the one that played the other vampire then.

Useless 2004-10-09 10:16 PM

Yeah, I'm thinking Snatch. He was very powerful in Meet Joe Black, but that was a different kind of acting. Every time I watch that movie (MJB) I am amazed how much is conveyed through body language between he and the babe playing Anthony Hopkins' daughter.

Torn Rose 2004-10-10 12:20 AM

yes, thats what the "huh" was about, Val Kilmer was in that, not Brad Pitt, it's one of my favorite movies.

GoneApeShit 2004-10-10 12:38 AM

Kalifonia was kick butt ..... Another one I liked and still one of my fav movies is A River Runs Through it ..

Alphawolf 2004-10-10 12:45 AM

"Sorry, I Don't Have One"

Yeah- that was Brad's best for sure. :D

Actually, Seven Years in Tibet / Fight Club.

Hmm. After I exited this thread I got a dozen gay pop unders. |escape|

He is...why else would he start this thread ;)

Greenguy 2004-10-10 07:40 AM

Yes, I do know what Jim is talking about :D

Even though he was only in it for 5 minutes, his role ad Floyd in True Romance was fucking hysterical!

He was great in Legends of the Fall, Se7en, Twelve Monkeys, Snatch, The Mexican & Ocean's Eleven, but I'd have to say my favorite was Fight Club :)

If enjoying the work of this generation's finest actor is being gay then give me a rainbow ribbon and call me Mary :)

In your first post, you said you "loved brad pitt", prompting my response. There's a difference between loving him and enjoying his movies. :)

Anyway -- no need to get touchy. I like him. Though I think he's far from being the generation's answer to brando.|jester|

Extreme John 2004-10-10 10:11 AM

Fight Club, not that Im a Huge Brad Pitt fan thats for sure.

zobmaster 2004-10-10 01:12 PM

Snatch is good but my favorites is : the 12 monkeys. Man he's so good in that one... far from is cute blonde guy role in seven years in tibet.

Steve_NCH 2004-10-10 08:03 PM

Best: Fight Club |thumb
Worst: The Mexican (Oh Bradley, what were you thinking....). As devout a Brad Pitt fan as you obviously are Jim, surely even you can't defend The Mexican!

Jim 2004-10-10 08:12 PM

I didn't care much for the Mexican but the only bright spot was...Mr Brad Pitt :)

ngb1959 2004-10-10 10:27 PM

Legends of the Fall ....

How can you not fall in love with the character he played? Such a manly-man just out of your grasp. (Swoon)

However, in real life, he's just a guy that's cute.

My friend went to school with his sisters in Springfield, MO.

...and what's the big deal about Jennifer Aniston's body? I don't see it, but then again, I'm a woman.

Cutting Class, 1989 is on Channel 530/Mystery right now.

Now there's one of Pitts early movies -- obviously before he had enough weight to turn down jobs. haha

Corleone 2004-10-11 03:31 AM

Fight Club and Snatch are cool

but SEVEN is my favourite:)

Fight Club and Se7en kick asses

Jim 2004-10-11 07:48 AM

Believe it or not but my wifes favorite Mr Brad Pitt movie is Thelma and Louise. But, she "claims" to not like the finest actors of this generation :)

pornrex 2004-10-11 09:37 AM

1. Snatch - the movie was great and so was Pitt.
2. Interview w/a Vampire - definitely his "breakout" flick..
3. True Romance - no better stoner in the 90's...

|rasta|

GunnCat 2004-10-12 06:28 AM

This is a funny thread!
I would have to say Brad is like an avacado. You never know what you have until you cut inside. For example, him next to Morgan Freeman in Seven shows how bad an actor he is. But then wait! You watch Fight Club and he is great.
I would have to say without a doubt that Snatch was my favorite film to date. His appearance in True Romance was classic though.

And keep your blondes straight! Val Kilmer is a much better actor than Brad Pitt and was in Heat, while Brad Pitt just makes the ladies(and possibly Jim) get in heat! |jester|

Extreme Robyn 2004-10-12 11:12 AM

Mine was Oceans Eleven

Jim 2004-10-12 01:11 PM

Jim
Mr Pitt was not in Dogma. But it was a good movie :)
