oh yeah its my nag time again, why the fuck cant people use their own ideas? What lately is pissing me off bad is, that evertyhing i do on my stuff linksites , hubs, free sites........is getting copied, now oke, copied we all have that, but damn i cant have a new thing for one day on my sites or some "bugs" are copieng(or what ever) my stuff i cant stop that, but please change something in your own style..............lazy bums sneeky bugs.|sad|

It's good to vent, but don't be so surprised. You're a business person, not an isolated programmer. In business people steal your ideas, the clothes off your back. That's the way it's always been. Not nice, not a big surprise.

i am not surprised, realy i am not, i am 3 years in bizz and alot of my stuff gets copied, but you do get surprised if people are doing it you know in person..............ackkkkkkkkkkkk|violin| and its not the first time they did, i have warn them but they keep doing it.

Oh, I see, someone you know (as in an aquantance or friend) has stolen from you? I understand how you must feel. I wasn't making light of the situation. Truth is, it's happened to me so many times, I treat it now as part of life and business. But this doesn't make it any less painful when it happens. I think when you trust someone, and they take from you, it's more like rape than theft.

My family has been to court several times over theft in the past. One thing we did was invent the home choose concept of choosing carpets in europe. The slogun we used was copied by a rival and we won in court.

More recently, a man I thought of as a mentor and friend, promised to turn my hobby of writing screenplays into a reality. To cut a long story short, he stole my concept, my idea, re-wrote my screenplay, and shot the movie without giving me a cent.

These things are sent to try us . . . :)

eww thats bad ........i know it happens all the time, but hell whats wrong with asking, people can ask others if they may use something, and if you use it change it all, once in a while i need to nag about it ....lol see it as "comming out stress" for the last hard working weeks of the year 2004! Still with the "bugs"and clusterfucks in networking, it was a good 2004! Will go for a even better 2005 and "copieng (i hate that word) bugs" wont stop me from that !

yep i agree but leaving the authors name and the name of the real site in it and the dscription and all and even get in yahoo with it, is very very stupid....

It's kinda hard to accidentally type up the same title, meta & site - including graphics - that someone else has had online for quite some time.

Ok I have seen enough of this bullshit!! I told stu a month ago when she made these false claims that if this went public she would be the one wearing the egg on her face... I am going to go over this point by point very slow so there is NO chance for a mistake.

First the page in question was a test page that had meta tags copied but not changed to our search terms. There was NOTHING that was even remotely close to anything I have ever seen on NetManiak. The page was up for maybe a day and was changed to a link trade page that stu has had link trades on since the site started....funny how none of this (proof) came out then.

I will admit to the ONLY thing that was done in this matter... The meta tag html was copied instead of typing out. So if stu owns the copywrite to meta tags then I guess we are thieves. If not then this was a simple text replacement mistake and as usual someone crys wolf and you all flock without anything but a yahoo cache to an incomplete page and one side of a story. Did stu happen to mention her and Bratt shared ideas on many sites? I think she may have failed to tell the whole truth but that doesn't surprise me anymore.

This started as a nag and as usual turned into a witch hunt. But this time there isn't anything to burn..Sorry

Now for some REAL facts...
The page in question on the site LIVE, no bullshit yahoo cache the real deal! And notice the meta text hasn't been changed yet to show I have NOTHING to hide... (Also notice who has their sites in the top listings... They should sound familiar.)
